300 undead spartans fighting?

yea and wat do we cal the sequel? -300? so will we finally see them dining in hell

It's only a sequel in the spiritual sense.

i have one question:

why the King did not ask more soldier for reinforcement from the council instead go to war with 300 men.

the council forbids him to go to war....

blame that priest from the holyplace.....ORACLE said SPARTA will lose in this war....their ppl believe in god.....and hence the council ofcoz won't allow it...

I guess it's going to be a prequel. The only other Greek/Spartan legend that is worthy of a movie would be the Battle of Marathon, which happened during Darius' (Xerxes' father) rule.

That is if Frank Miller continues to satiate the bloody audience's extremely senseless bloodlust

he's androgenous. gods are supposed to be androgenous - i.e both male and female. So gods are always depicted as a little.. "soft"

Actually, the rest of Greece is also having similar problems - Olympics was very close by, and they rather honor the Olympics than go to war.

The most baddass scene IMO was King Leonidas walking out of the Phalanx kicking ass and taking names in slo-mo done right! No lame kwai-lou doing fancy fung fu moves here, just pure brutal ass kicking and awesome rock music!!!

During that time AFAIK, the spartan are forbid to go to war ... thats y the Imperial troop (spartan) unable to move out.

Not neccessary. If they were to wear 'bodysuit', they would be 'physically' huge

Sequel to 300: 299 (since one of them survived)

Story Sypnosis

Leonidas, after his heroic stand in Thermopylae, arrives in hell along with his 298 fellows. They laugh in the desolate realm of Hades, and tell his men to conquer all of Hell. In a battle roar, they charge towards the throne of Hades.

But as they reach the courtyard, they hear glaring music beyond comprehension. The deep ryhtmic beats trample their hearts much like the great war elephants that the persians brought with them, but in a much different way. Curious, the band of 299 spartans enter the courtyard, to see...

A bunch of hip hop guys battling on the dance floor. The leader of one of the gang challenges Leonidas to a battle, and Leonidas almost kills his opponent before realizing the true meaning of a hip hop battle. Humiliated on the dance floor, and his men frustrated as all women in hell see them as geeks and refuse to bed them, they practice hard on breakdance, swearing revenge.

Let the battles begin again.

if the make a sequel it could follow up the Battle of Plataea as the ending of 300 shows the beginning of the Battle of Plataea

watched it yesterday nite.. and goooossshhh never tot i'll like the movie so much.. it's great

hehe your statement remind me the part where leonidas says "at the end of this, they will know that a god can bleed as well" (or soemthing like that)
