graphic novel --- > QUOTE 300 is a graphic novel, written and illustrated by Frank Miller with painted colors by Lynn Varley. It depicts the Battle of Thermopylae and the events leading up to it from the perspective of Leonidas, king of Sparta. The comic was particularly inspired by the 1962 film The 300 Spartans, a movie that Miller watched as a young boy.
Every page of the comic was illustrated as a double-page spread. When the series was collected into hardcover form, the individual pages were twice as wide as a normal comic. Miller's art style for this project was similar to his Sin City work, although the addition of color is an obvious difference.  300 is a historical epic film directed by Zack Snyder, scheduled to be released in 2007. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. yeapz it's expensive but i have other methods of collecting....yeapz this thing is by the same guy who wrote sin city n the movie is expected to have the same quality sin city movie makers produced

this is like Sin City mix with Gladiator lor....the wife and son in the field is very same like gladiator....but the hero is very ....ugly....beard...

yeap..its shown in the comic con previously..
should be a good watch.waited for it for like few years.eventually zack snyder (dawn of the dead)director was not attached to this project...but hence once he re-read the comics..he went full force...thus we have 300!!!....waiting to be release soon....next year...ooh..too long..just like how i waited for sin city...

The movie look promising. Hope the malaysian censorship board dont censor the film so much that it doesnt make sense. From the looks of it, it going to be a bloody film

like Sin City its all done in front of blue screen. gotta say that 300 trailer looks awesome. dun mind paying the tix just for the effect.

i watched the trailer yesterday... its awesome, but it is rated restricted,mayb coz of too violent...i still love those true n violence scenes...cant wait to watch it!
