3rd year and 2 months. smooth sailing.

recently have a problem of vibrate during acceleration.
not steering vibrate but as if the tyre spin cause the vibrate is just a moment. and then it gone.

I wonder is it the cvt belt loosen when accelerate.
4~5k rpm on S mode. around 70kmph ~ 120kmph there is a three times such occasion as if each ratio change vibrate once.

change to + - mode it is ok no such vibrate.

dunno how to explain the vibrate is almost same like when u brake and then there is a esc kick in vibrate kind of feeling.

Balancing RM 8 per wheel, alignment RM40+.

Better do it outside.

if i remember it correctly,
milage <1000km, balancing&alignment can be done for FREE at proton SC.

balancing rm5 per wheel. rm15~20 alignment.. (Price in penang mainland). differ from each shop..

Normally after balancing and alignment done, steering put straight, car might still go to left a bit.. it's normal.. mostly our road was design the slope to left a bit.. as long as not very serious toward to left will do.. a little bit left is ok.. if you let go the hand, the car drive to left significantly then go check align..

where do you get this info? in the display screen? Mine I think is 15l/100km, average is 20kmh since I only use it for short distance ride, fetch son to school. 1 way trip only 5km.

I missed my 20000KM service 1 day after 12 months. I have to pay for the labour.

I got my car before the voucher promotion started. I believe every new Preve gets 3x service labour for free, within 1st year.

Just dropped by COSE this afternoon and managed to get the issue resolved. First off, all mineral oil, semi-synthetic oil and full-synthetic oil can be used on the Preve Turbo. (Mach 5, Syntium 800 can be used).

Secondly, the air-cond service is optional and not necessary.

Looks like I have been taken for a ride by the particular service advisor. Coincidentally he was not at the service when I visited. Told them I wanted a refund and they agreed to reimburse only the air-cond service (RM166+) but they could not reimburse the Synthium 1000 engine oil since it was poured into the engine, which was comprehensible. So all in all, paid RM80+ extra for the Synthium 1000 instead of Synthium 800 (Synthium 1000 costs RM200, Synthium 800 costs RM117)

Another service advisor lady who was processing my refund said that the costlier Synthium 1000 is better for the engine. Yeah, right. Didn't feel any difference between Synthium 800 and 1000 but anyway at least I have tried the Synthium 1000 once and it's the first and last time I'm going to use this engine oil on the Preve Turbo.

syn 800 just cost rm112 before GST.. I'm was using this engine oil from 1k till now 20k service which just done on last saturday.

btw new preve on 2014 onwards which entitled for free 3 years maintenance which is cover basic maintenance like mineral engine oil, oil filter, gasket plug.. which voucher RM95 discount each service. for some period, there are rm165 discount voucher..

slightly add on for syn800 engine oil, around rm40..

btw, i see some sponge flying out from my aircond. is that normal? and sometimes if i start my engine and move immediately, the engine mati... is it time to change the battery?

The chair, i have the similar problem...felt like my back is against some bone cartilages when moving my body. Plan to complain to SC this coming service.

Yes proton will entertain this kind issue, my preve also having same problem.

Ohh wait, isn't this normal? I thought it was normal since i dont see anyone complaining about this.. (My friend got this problem too, but diam2 only)

Just got my preve yesterday,
Problems

1. Rattling sound (sounds like mounting problem)
2.Blaupunkt HU micro sim slot does not detect the micro sin card (navigation does not work)
3 LH speaker sounds more louder than the rest

Really hope proton can solve all these issues...
Furthermore its a May 2015 model

Sounds like the newer Preve may have more quality issues now compared to the older 2012/2013 Preve models? I have only rattling sound from the back seat of the car in which after few attempts of pulling down the seat and pushing it back again, the sound was gone. If it comes back again, I just repeat the same exercise. The sound at the back seat may be just a case of the seat not locked securely and the rattling sound comes up due to knocks and vibration when the car is in motion.

As for the rattling sound from front passenger door, if the source can be detected usually it can be resolved. Maybe some wires or other stuff hitting against the metal door panel. Just require a small adjustment.

Left side speaker louder than right side or other speakers or HU micro sim slot cannot detect sim card, this is more to electronic problem. Maybe the thing is faulty. Just claim under warranty and have the old HU replaced to a new unit.

Lesson learned : 1000km service.
Just need to change Engine Oil, Oil Filter and Gasket... the rest just kena sucked blood oni...

my Preve 2years already, the front passenger door noise nvr wanna leave me...

rattling at front passenger door, if push and pull the sound will gone. i open it up the sound still there.
So nothing i can do. Try to show SC but they said they din hear. Same like IDLE vibration, they say everything ok~
