QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jul 22 2006, 01:10 PM) HotlinkGift send me this, Top up RM10 by 24th of July and get free 100 sms... I just top up RM30 last Thursday... so will be expired on 19th of August... So my account will expired on 19 August or a week after I top up RM10? QUOTE(pengster @ Jul 22 2006, 01:53 PM) I thought it supposes should be 19/8 since it is latter than the RM10 top up?If I am not mistaken, previously I used DiGI prepaid and I topped up RM100 and there were 120 days. At days 50, I topped up RM10 and my expiration date was still at the RM100 top up date and not at 7th day from the RM10 top up date. This post has been edited by jack2: Jul 22 2006, 09:58 PM |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jul 22 2006, 09:57 PM) When you top up new credit, they will still follow the time when it will expiry.. That is weird and cheating.RM10- a week RM30- amonth And etc... I think Maxis are trying to make users a mind twist about it! Let make some case study to confirm:- Scenario I:- Top up date: 22/07/2006 Amount top up: RM30 Valid till: 21/08/2006 (ignore 1 day diff if there is 31 days in the calendar month) On 23/07/2006:- Top up: RM10 The new expiration date will be 30/07/2006 instead of 21/08/2006? Scenario II Top up date: 22/07/2006 Amount top up: RM30 Valid till: 21/08/2006 (ignore 1 day diff if there is 31 days in the calendar month) On 23/07/2006:- Top up: RM30 The new expiration date will be 21/08/2006 or 22/08/2006? |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jul 22 2006, 10:18 PM) If like that, the new expiration date will be the date of which ever is shorter if there are several top up in the active period.Scenario III Top up date: 22/07/2006 Amount top up: RM30 Valid till: 21/08/2006 (ignore 1 day diff if there is 31 days in the calendar month) On 19/08/2006:- Top up: RM30 The new expiration date is also 21/08/2006 instead of 30 days from 19/08/2006 ie. 18/09/2006? I don't think so la.... if like that, consider cheating liao... Can someone confirm? |

QUOTE(luv4life @ Jul 27 2006, 02:01 AM) I'm using P75 for about a year.... for my knowledge, is it the RM75 monthly access will be waive if I reach RM75 call charges??? It is not termed as waived. The monthly subscription will be used to offset with your call usage. Why it seems like when I reached RM75 call charges... there still RM75 monthly charges charged in my bills.....?? Say you total made RM80 call usage in the month. The bill will be like this: Monthly subscription: RM75 Call usage: RM80 Total: RM155 Less: RM75 = RM80 If your call usage is lower than RM75, you still need to pay at least RM75+. Try to understand how to read your bill. |

I received the email from someone about unsuccessful call made will be charged by Maxis:-
QUOTE I wish to share some new information with u all. Any comments? I noticed from my latest bill that I have such 1 sec call charges.Recently, you will see a lot 1 or 2 seconds calls's charges in your Maxis bill which is not a pratice.... (Call will be charged by maxis once it reached the 3rd seconds.... ) Dont be surprise if the destinated number has no voice mail and still Maxis is charging you!!! Customer Services agents from Maxis have explained to me that, from 15 Sept 2005 onwards, Maxis will follow the new regulations which is drawn by JTM (something telekom malaysia, I cant really recall the name). Under the new regulations, all calls that are diverted to system prompts will be charged, etc, "the number is tempopary unavailable", or, you getting a busy tone, vary from RM0.08 (plan 75) or RM0.15 (std plan). Be a smart consumers, dont call so many times when your fren's line is still busy. YOU ARE BEING CHARGED ON THAT!!! This post has been edited by jack2: Jul 27 2006, 07:07 PM |

QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 26 2006, 12:45 AM) QUOTE(kaz_120 @ Aug 26 2006, 01:08 AM) Yes the credit balance can be transfered from prepaid to postpaid once u have converted Yes, you can transfer the balance of credit in your hotlink to your new postpaid account and the credit is used to offset with your current month bill amount. It takes 2-3 months for the amount to be shown in the bill. Better transfer to postpaid (asap) ... as currently they do not charge to convert it to postpaid. U just need to pay deposit rm100. My bro just did it last month and the transfer of credit is shown in his first month bill.... |

Anyone realises that for unanswer calls that you call out, it will be charged from the time the call is connected regardless the call is answered.
I did some testing last month and I found out that I were charged on that... |
