Hi. My pesona air con is something wrong. During hot weather and after i start the car, air con fan is off. My car cannot feel the air coming out from air con. When stop,i can feel cold air coming out from air con. After few minutes,the air con baru start to function. What wrong with it?

Update on leaking issue:

Sent the car to COSE. They say will perform shower test to confirm it is indeed the windscreen leaking. If confirmed, they will remove the windscreen and re-seal it. He assured me that it will be as good as factory seal, better than those outside windscreen workshops.

I doubt it will be as good as factory, but at least I have more confidence in them than outside windscreen shops.

anyways, this issue alongside other minor issues will take a week to address. I have left the car at COSE.

Just 4 months old. I dont mind if they take their time and do a good job, than rush it and give me more problems....but if one week later still not solve imma gonna flip table at COSE 

Have to service my car within the 5 years warranty period?

I have changed the followings around 28k, now at 32k:
1.Brake Oil
2.Power Steering Oil
3.Coolant
4.Fan Belt

and recently a new Battery.

My Engine Oil & Filter is overdue (time period not mileage), mileage suddenly become very bad like 8.3 (should be 8.5 due to change smaller tyre), 90% tank can only go around 300km...

Also i notice sometimes the car hard to start, need to turn the key for few seconds then like start like car got asthma.

I checked the Battery with Engine off is 12V, start the engine & rev up to 3krpm, the idle voltage is only 10.7V, however i let it run for another 5 minutes the idle voltage becomes 14.3V & off the engine the battery is now 12.7V... is there something wrong with my multimeter or something wrong with the alternator/battery?

only way i know is measuring the voltage, any other easy way to check?

just now test:

1.Engine Off Battery 12V
2.Engine On 10.7V

after 5 minutes

1.Engine On 14.3V
2.Engine Off Battery 12.7V

all measured at idle.

i read from an article saying:

Warning: Never disconnect a battery cable while the engine is running to "test" the alternator. Doing so can cause high voltage spikes that can damage the alternator as well as other electronics.

is it reliable?

also when you hear squeaking sound, does the alternator still working or not? how much is a replacement unit? Persona alternator normally last how many years/mileage?

i can hear light squeaking noise at the engine bay but i can't tell from which part, i though small squeaks are considered normal?

Back door = 3 screws in total, two behind the door handle, one securing the power window console

Front door (Right) = 5 screws in total; 2 behind door handle, 1 securing the power window, 1 on the left and right(side of the door panel) of the door handle.
Front door (Left) = Virtually the same, the order for the last two screws aforementioned is reversed.

Might be a door clip that has fallen off. The door clips do not sit snugly, so you should buy some tape that is strong and can be easily removed without leaving much of a mess to secure the clips to the door panel. There's nothing else I imagine that would be causing any squeaking sound, but if the sound is not caused by the door clips, you will need to take the weather sheet off and explore from there.

Edit: Tape the sides of the door clips and their stand, otherwise you might end up with water seeping through the door clip holes on the door itself .

Hi... Just to share some of my experience... When there is a screeching sound from the rear, it could be the hook at the rear seat. There is a hinge at both left and right of the rear seat. The hinge I am talking about is the one whereby you unlock and fold the seat forward therefore accessing the boot. It is a metallic hinge which as time goes by the friction will cause that noise especially when the car driving over uneven surface.
