The valuation has to be 430k or purchased at 430k.

Whether can get lower rate or not depends on your profile as well and not just the loan amount.

Depends freehold / leasehold, thereafter you can only perform the renovation once the transfer is perfected.

Yes, there is a fee to pay for loan disbursement.

No issue as long as the property is completed, and developer is not bankrupt before they transfer you the title.

Lock in period is a consideration to take note of as you would need to pay a fee if you wish to refinance / settle the loan.

That depends on whose name is in the loan agreement. If it's a joint loan with the wife, then the wife is required to pay the 200k balance.

Even if there is no joint loan with the wife, the bank will recover the balance from the husband's estate.
