Hey guys, haven't lurked in here since forever. So, how was that Topre Heaven Keyboard that came out last year?
Also, what is the recommendation for a good budget mech keyboard right now?
Topre's Type Heaven is a affordable Topre series.
Well, Type Heaven is designed in Topre Inc (Japan), but manufactured in China.
So, it's different from those Happy Hacking and Realforce which are manufactured in Japan.
The reason why it's low cost?
It uses ABS keycaps (Font Printing: Laser) rather than conventional dye-sub PBT in other Topre like Happy Hacking or Realforce.
Note: A common set of Topre dye-sub PBT keycaps set cost >RM300.
However, the PCB and Topre switch (45g) are made in Japan and manufactured by Topre Inc itself.
So, internal hardware is very reliable.
At the end, typing feel is still similar to Realforce.
For extra information, CMStorm Novatouch which released last year also is made in China.
The internal of PCB and Topre switch (45g) still are made in Topre Inc, Japan.
