Hey guys, I'm organizing another set of GBs, which will be open to voting once I have done up the thread.

GB will consist of a top-tier end-game worthy keycap set.

Details to follow smile.gif

Hey guys, anyone know what's the difference between ducky zero shine and ducky shine 3?

Heavy Arm selling ducky shine 3 at the price of 369, rm100 off. Quite tempting.

DS3 is pretty good bling bling board.

MX Cherry switches, a lot of lighting modes. Only drawback is the caps aren't that good.

Also does anyone know how much would it cost here to build a custom plate (aluminium or stainless steel) with cut-out that allows switch opening for a tkl size board?
*
RM50+ for 5mm acrylic, and 70-80 for alu 1.6mm

I'll do when I'm back in KL. Currently away on work.

QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Feb 3 2015, 06:00 PM)
Just a note, GB takes months for the keysets to finish production. It's not simply order and straight shipping, in case some people doesn't know.

EDIT: Unless the GB you joined is just a simple order and ship, of course.
*
No, I'm buying straight from the store, do they'll be shipped out asap.

If you want upgrade your Topre to 55g or 30g, please pm me.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Tactile users really like Topre because the tactile feel is clearer.  nod.gif
Cherry MX Clear also has clear tactile bump as well.

We don't compare Topre with Cherry MX. Coz 2 different types of switches build.

Bro, how much is Novatouch nowadays? If can just drop me a PM on the price

with all due respect to your sk1llz and effort, please next time post real pictures of real keyboards. we already have too much rendition of keyboards in our dreams.
*
Yeah, render is like dreaming. In the end only maximum feels is real.

Feel > pretty render.

Ducky Zero Series. No shine.

Hey guys, this is last reminder for the [CTRL]ALT groupbuy, in my signature.

Also included is the Hyperfuse colourways by GMK.

Trust me when I say that this is an endgame keycap groupbuy, because this is REALLY an endgame level keycap groupbuy.

PM me if you have any embarrassing questions, or post up if you have less embarrassing ones.

Any prior participants in my GB will know that I make virtually no money from this, and sometimes I even send out the caps before stage 2 shipping charges are paid. I'd be buying the caps anyway and you are piggybacking on my purchases biggrin.gif

I see a faker in this thread.

Yeah, you buy a lot of STOCK and pre-built boards. That does not, in any way, make you an MKB enthusiast.

Only once you have tasted all the possible switch types for Cherry (at least!) then can you compare with others. Topre and Alps also needed to really understand MKB switches.

Next step is to try the difference between acrylic customs and SUS customs plates. Still, that is not enough because you will need to have tasted the beauty of full alu plate.

In the end though, anyone who will prefer a board which:

1. Emphasis more on bling than quality.
2. Uses clone switches with inferior and questionable quality.
3. Non-ANSI (aka "standard") non-Tsangan layout, non-ISO layout.
4. Reliance on gimmicks to sell instead of creating value.

Unfortunately, all this criteria for me points to any board which is made for "gamers" and not typist boards. Trisnek is only one of the many culprits, which also include corsair, and some models for CM (which actually improved into using standard layouts and pretty decent build quality).

However, I need to mention this to a lot of people. Most Dota 2 pros that who aren't using sponsored boards are using Topres, Duckies and Filcos. Most SC2 pros are using custom boards.

So if you are someone who ranks a bling bling board with cloned switches like Razer Blackwidow Chroma above something like a Ducky, I suggest that you exit the "mechanical" keyboard thread and go enjoy the "gaming" keyboard thread instead, because here you will be treated as a retard, but there they will worship your "good choice" and congratulate your stupidity.

So get lost, because you have nothing to contribute.

I agree with the points you stated out. But, sound furious about this. LOL.

As an ex-user of Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma, I must say it's switches quality is really questionable(IMO, it's bad).
But, the blings are really pretty. Layout wise is good as they're using "almost" standard layout. Typing on it is OK, better than rubber dome, but, inferior than Ducky.

I also find my Filco Majestouch 2 TKL is having better typing feel than my Ducky Shine 4. But, I think this might be subjective. Correct me if I am wrong.
*
There is no such thing as "almost" standard layout. Standard means standard and no other ways about it.

Spotted a dumbass.

As i said i prefer the chroma compared to k70. As for ducky shine 4. Just dont like it. The lights are all off on the two cause i know where all the key is. Just got it as this 5 were stated the best for gaming n ppl said i should try the different key switches.

For me this is a start on mkb. Not a priority n nvr said was a enthusiast.

If i think this is not enough n my world is incomplete without custom.. Then will try.

Also come on ...nobody here is competitive gamer. So y compare.  If competitive idol purchase is ure way of living..
So dude what car ure driving dude for example.
Btw lets not now start compare epeening. No idea who you are n where i am at i dont care.

I came into thread asking for advice. Got it. Overall response its a feel thingy. So going to test whatever i want in the next month.

Right. Thinly veiled threats, check. Stalking my past history to see what I do, check. Came back from Valentine Day to get new stalker, check.

Post reported, check.

Also, I not talking about you, why so butthurt? I just talking about fakers in this thread. If you feel it, it probably means that you are a faker.

Anyway, if I got time, I won't wanna meet you in anywhere on the planet. Might as well do my CNY shopping.
