depend on which location of sg long..if stay at further end of sg long like palm walk, desa budiman...need to take about 15-20 min during morning peak hour to just reach grand saga highway...the traffic light is the killer, and also the traffic built up at the traffic light at the commercial area there...

dun trust me..ask the ppl who stay in palm walk/desa budiman... tongue.gif

the design for the access road from sg long to cheras kajang highway is totally a failure...should not be implement so many traffc light along the way....

the major developer for sg long is SHL, which wont spent the money to upgrade the roads, i think most of the projects in sg long already sold, the left over are small scale land for small scale projects..... tongue.gif

no, only have one chinese primary, which do not know when will operate, one SMK, and UTAR...


semenyih got 2 chinese primary, 1 international school and Nottingham university...

yes, lack of cinema..and AEON mahkota cheras is very not competitive compare to other AEON....many shops are clsoing down...

definitely need a cinema to boost up...and need a macdonald.... biggrin.gif


until now i still cant belive there is no macdonald at mahkota cheras/sg long area...

if only compare the developed area landsize(residential and commercial), actually semenyih is about the size like sg long+mahkota cheras....

we are talking about the # of schools vs land area


simple visual estimation,

the red circle is mahkota cheras+ sg long....with 1 chinese primary, 1 secondary and 1 university


the blue circle is SEH+semenyih village town, land size is slightly bigger but you can see clearly many area still not been develop, and got 2 chinese primary school, 2 SMK, 1 international school and Nottingham university

Conclusion: Fight for more school especially there are few plots of land in BMC reserve for schools

yes sg long+BMC definitely need more schools..should stop built more residential projects, the remain land should use for infrastructure..

there is one not so new project call the vantage launch by lion group at mahkota cheras, just beside cheras vista 2...


1.2 million can get a 36xx sqf ft, 40x65 landed terrece...damn huge frontage....


still not sld out yet...better choice compare to a lot subsale condo at other area like kuchai lama which same price only can get a 2000sqf condo...

it's the expansion from 2 lanes to 4 lanes is all the way from traffic light junction to grand saga highway junction?

if only expand at the traffic light junction, when it reach the newsppper stalk locaiton there become 2 lanes again, the jam will still happen...

hmm..if like this, don't think is it going to help.....imagine at sg long T junction there, 4 lanes with 4 traffic flows come together at the same time then when reach the mahkota T-junction, 4 becomes 2 lanes, all the 4 lanes try to squeeze here and there to get into it...it might cause more jam...

Sg long street lights almost all out of service, at area golf club, UTAR, shoplots there... raised complaint to MPKJ multiple times and the status is "selesai" but the actual problem never been resolved...
