Ha ha I felt my our life is quite similar already tongue.gif .
I think HDA testing will be everyone's nightmare. And I do agree on the revenue & cost of sales recognition part especially the schedules that needed to be digested. And the impairment/revaluation issue, always had arguments with client for days. But I always heard O&G and hotels are quite interesting as quite specialized, maybe near future lo.

I am especially sad when nice and efficient colleagues are leaving (but when all of them do it together, its a bombshell). And they are not leaving cos of promotion, the partner personally request them to stay. Bro, I personally understand how you feel. Audit does give the harshest reality check on many things.

HDA -_______- I was jsut discussing wif boss/seniors how to cramp in the HDA testing whilst trying to meet the audit deadline.. sleep.gif
As for O&G and hotels.. well.. Hotels ain't so nice tbh... O&G... too funky for me lolz

Hahahhaha yeah recently pwc oso had it's share of good seniors leaving. very sad imo T_T

HDA = Housing Development account, everyone who audit PDD will know why this area is such a headache.

Peak normally on Feb (announcement), Apr (submission) and June (group). Technically nothing much happens from July to Sept unless you have a client with such year end on such date. There are a few big company in malaysia with june year end so depends on your luck lo but most on Dec.
*
Try EY's Maybank. YE in June
Try PwC's Sime Darby. YE in June also.

Hi all, is 25/26 too 'old' to join the graduate recruitment program?
*
No, but if you're the type that has low self confidence and feels demotivated when someone younger than you is a few ranks higher, better not.

welcome to the club. June intake is the best intake as our annual promotion is in june so you don't risk being overdue to anything.

general sentiments and response from senior management seems to suggest so, though no official brief has been given. If I do get any info I'll inform you ppl accordingly ;P
