This is what I hate sometimes. Players always trying the fanciful side foot finishes. Just blast it FFS.

Campbell earlier and now Theo.

I really don't see anything special about Campbell. Good player but a bench player at best for now. I don't see how is he better than anyone we've got that can play across the midfield.

THEO LOL. What a joke of a finish. Hahaha our players just can't finish.

Campbell earlier Theo twice. If we take a shot for every one on one missed in this game we would be drunk by now.

I really don't get the hype about Campbell. He has been ordinary every time I've seen him.

Each time we don't play well AST people will be grilling Arsene for not playing Campbell. I doubt he would've made much difference.

I certainly am not convinced he will be a starter for us in the near future. Good and decent player but chances are he will be moved on like the rest who were just like him before this.

Sanogo and Akpom were brought on when we were chasing games. They are strikers and the position they play itself compared to Campbell is a no brainer that they bring more goal threat than Campbell.

Monreal/Gibbs/Coquelin were brought on when we were protecting one or two goal leads. Next thing we know if he goes on and brings Campbell and we concede you will be blaming Arsene for not bringing on a defender to protect the leads.

Maitland Niles? Since when was Maitland Niles preferred to Campbell? Maitland Niles came on for Ramsey at half time vs Galatasaray but Campbell played a full 90 that game. Maitland Niles came on against Newcastle in the 91st min. lol. I guess if Campbell came on he would able to impress with a couple mins left? You can say he could've brought Campbell in earlier for that game but 3-1 up until 88 mins only we scored the fourth with 3 points at stake and gamble on an unknown entity like Campbell? No thank you. I'd rather not take the risk.

Sometimes the situation in games plays a part in whether a player gets playing time or not and probably its a bit unfortunate for Campbell that we have been pretty sh*t lately thus limiting his chances of picking up game time here and there.

I have seen Campbell in the WC playing for Costa Rica and when he was playing regularly for Olympiakos in the UCL as well. Credit to him he has some well taken goals but nothing much else apart from that. Even less impressive in an Arsenal shirt. He had 90 mins against Galatasaray and he had another 90 mins today. All I see is just a decent player who is not better than any of the players around him he is fighting for a place in the first 11.

lol thats the same as saying what is the point of installing air bags in cars because when you get into an accident that bad in the first place the worse that could happen (in this case the driver dies) would've happen anyway since air bags won't save you also from really terrible accidents.

If we are chasing games with little time left when the opponent is sitting back and packing the box I would prefer Sanogo solely because he has the height to win headers. Bringing Campbell on and shifting Sanchez as striker is definitely an option but tippy tappy and smart movement IMO will be less effective than going Route 1 with the amount of bodies in the box. Not saying it wouldn't work but most of the time it has to be eye of the needle stuff especially the passing, low crosses and through balls which is really tough.
