QUOTE(wintzen @ Jan 15 2015, 04:30 PM) You can see a lot of content providers (reviewers, youtubers, movie producers) all like to use a Mac because mainly of the optimisation of the software and hardware. True with that pricing you could get a MBP or iMac, but then you won't be able to do mobile stuffs right? True... but when I first placed my order for my first Iphone 6 16GB and 6 Plus 16GB on Singapore online store on September, I was like, "Man, Im paying Rm3K++ for a 16GB 6 Plus!" Its crazy to be paying more than Rm3k for a smartphone.

Imagine that time it's still Windows Mobile.

Anyway, back to the discussion because I think we've went OOT. Just wondering, I've got about 4 months left on my contract, any idea can renew? QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Jan 16 2015, 12:43 PM) Not renew. Extend. The answer is Yes. Funny thing is i called Maxis on this and they said any contracts with 4 months or less can get new iphone without any penalties as the contract will be cancelled and a new contract will come into place when we purchase the new phone. The CS didnt say anything about extensions to current contract, it was a straightforward cancel current and get a new contract. This post has been edited by liverpool red: Jan 16 2015, 01:20 PM

Ie 12 months contract period + 4 months existing.

It's done on the spot. My case, ex iPhone 5 was launch late in 2012, contract signed about Dec. Mine was auto waived 1 month when buy iPhone 6+ in Nov. My friend iPhone 5 was bought much later around Jan/Feb 2013. Bought iPhone 6+ in Dec, the 2-3 months balance contract is cancelled also. Start fresh 24 months. No penalties.

Speaking from experience here, hahaha Yup, of coz, same pattern every year, forsee the same iphone hunting in december every year, unless maxis comes up with a good rebate for trade-ins like they did for the 5S towards the end of the shell life, for me, the 6 Plus is already a very very good phone. If the price is right towards the end of the year, might even be swayed towards the 128GB model This post has been edited by liverpool red: Jan 16 2015, 04:44 PM
