i think most maxis centres already have ample stock but releasing it slowly on daily basis.

sunway piramid ip6 16gb space grey only available..other colour already sold out..for ip6+ 64gb space grey selling fast..other already sold out also..

i went to buy ip6+ 64gb sg in gardens @ 3pm.

I still quite alot of stock. Got silver ip6 64.
But now not sure still got or not.

Seems like there are more 6+ stocks available compared to 6...

Could it be iPhone users haven't gotten used to the humongous screen size yet? Hehe...

I'm interested in getting the ip6 with Maxis, went to the maxis centre nearby to check out the prices and iValue simple caught my attention.
I'm a university student and 1gb data should be enough for me when I'm out (as I have unifi at home) I'm on prepaid now and spend about RM30+ monthly just on credit (sometimes just to extend the expiry date sigh), excluding data.

Currently in a dilemma though, not sure whether to buy the phone and then get a internet plan (like Surfmore) or get the iValue simple? Any opinions? I've never bought from a telco before, so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance

Assuming you take the iValue simple plan, it's RM50 commitment with 200 minutes of free calls and 100 SMS to all networks, so you're pretty much covered if your usage is low. And seeing how you are on RM30+ prepaid now, I think it's about there or thereabouts. In terms of device price savings, there really isn't much. Assuming you take a 16GB iPhone 6, then you save only RM 150. If you take a 64GB one, you save RM 170. But you're gonna need a data and call plan anyway so the savings is probably good enough to get you a decent case and screen protector.

If you think you will need more than 1GB data per month, then it's probably better to get the phone without contract at a retail outlet or nego your way in our Garage Sales where there are some people who bought the phones on contract and are willing to let it go slightly lesser than retail price and get the Surfmore 50 plan which gives you 2GB data. Mind you though, no free calls or SMS for Surfmore, it's pay as you use. If you use RM30+ a month now, then with Surfmore it becomes RM80+ a month.

So if you really think 1GB data is sufficient, then iValue Simple does quite nicely.

guys, where maxis store will have iphone plus 64g in higher changes? i need a contract base. please advice.

If you have no color preference, and assuming you are in Klang valley, try KLCC, Gardens or Pyramid in the mornings.

Try at MV , Takacom having a road show at concourse area ,still have few units of 6+ 64GB gold in stock. I just got mine yesterday 6+ 64GB Space Gray last unit.

I think chances for 128gb will be very slim. I have been hunting since December, never see before 128gb got stock.

I think Maxis has just got stock for 128GB. I got my 6+ 128GB space gray sent to me yesterday, but for corporate plan.

Whoahhh... Congratz! Ok we got the answer now... Maxis is reserving 128 gb for their corporate subscriber... As simple as that...

A lot if ppl here managed to get phones without problem with corporate line

When I signed for my 64GB iPhone 6 Plus at maxis Pyramid last weekend I overheard a customer service guy telling a customer the 128GB ones were limited because there were some with technical issues recalled by Apple.

I have been search in Penang maxis center, but until last week, still can't find any. Anyone know any stock available in Penang maxis center? Looking for 64 or 128 6+

Im curious of you guys getting the 128GB iphones. Do you think there is really a need for 128gb of storage? Serious? Im on the 64gb and Im only using less than half of it only.

I've used 6.4GB only, haha, and 1GB is my music collection!

I have been searching it for months. Give up maxis and bought from Apple store last week. Now using it.
