For 24 months you will need to pay 1,229 device price + 930 upfront, so that's 2,159.
For 12 months you will need to pay 1,699 device price + 465 upfront, so that's 2,164.

The advance payment will be credited back in your upcoming bills so it's kinda like a deposit that will be refunded back to you. You'll be saving 470 on the device by signing a 24 month contract vs a 12 month one, but if your usage is well below what you get for the iValue 2 plan, then it's an extra commitment to maxis for the amount of 155 x 12 months. So you be the judge of what's worth it based on your usage and what you can afford.

@ftan,
Yes, unfortunately I need to find a Centre that has stock before I can opt for the RM300 EzyPayment biggrin.gif

@attw,
You have the option to wait biggrin.gif

Good morning. Hehe, tell me about it. Whenever I pass by Maxis, I only see 16GB available. Now, I'm thinking 16GB isn't that bad after all. unsure.gif

Like mentioned, 16 GB is good enough for users who use their phones mainly for calls, social networking and social messaging. If you always do an upkeep on your phone by deleting unwanted apps and photos, I can say that 16GB is adequate enough.

Do note however that the display board may not be entirely accurate too, some forummers who went in Maxis centres and asked and they got the 64 or 128gb though it was displayed out of stock at the board outside.

@ftan,
I don't know about you but 16GB is definitely insufficient for me. My previous iPhone 5 was a 64GB so I'm really hoping to get the 128GB but I suppose 64GB is oK also.. so it really depends on what I can get my hands on!

@TOMEI-R,
Do you know which Centres have the 64 or 128GB? I've been asking and going to each and every Centre I pass by the last month or so, to no avail sad.gif

Oh, ic ic. Then you should get 128 GB. If your iphone is to last more than a year, then better future proof it.

Yup, I've survived 2 years with an iPhone 4 and 1.5 years on an iPhone 5 both with 16GB. Should be able to do it once more till the next upgrade cycle.

Why so hard to decide? IMO 128 GB is a bit overkill though. laugh.gif

Same with me. I bought i5 & i5s on first day Apple online store sold them. This round I just took my sweet time. It would definately be before gst is implemented; or I just skip & wait for i6s (kinda unlikely). blush.gif
