Later when you receive your new phones go and check what processor it has.

I think the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. In real life, the difference is insignificant. Just enjoy your phone!

How to request to do installment plan? I placed my order through the website but didn't see any option for installment.
*
If I'm not mistaken Easy Payment can only be done at maxis centers, not online.

We'll they've announced their plans and nothing on Zerolution just yet... We'll have to wait and see on the 16th, otherwise it could be that Zerolution not applicable for iPhones.

Moral of the story, don't sign more than 12 months contract, for those that upgrade every year la
*
Right now only maxis iValue plans have 12 months contract. Their Maxis One Plan all 24 months.

Good morning. If I buy from Maxis online store, there is no epp by credit cards? Looks like walk-in is much better if I want 0% epp.
*
Yes, there is no option to select EPP from Maxis online store, so walk-in seems to be the better option... (Hopefully easier to get 64GB stocks this time around)

Ok, thanks for the reply. I may skip this time getting from Maxis. I remember how I had to check for stocks whenever I passed a Maxis store. Hope they will get better this time.
*
Yeah, I know the feeling smile.gif

QUOTE(clawhammer @ Oct 13 2015, 12:53 PM)
I am using the 6S Plus with Samsung chip. To be honest the battery life is very very good, a huge difference from the 6 Plus. Maybe this chip thing affects 6S more than 6S+? I'm not sure but if you ask me, I don't find this an issue.
*
For me, definition of good battery life = unplug phone at 6am when I wake up, use the phone throughout the day and do not need to use power bank or find charging outlet before I get home at about 9pm. The 6 Plus is already doing that for me. So to hear that the 6S Plus is a huge difference in spite of its smaller battery, then my curiosity is definitely up now biggrin.gif

I find it a bit strange that Maxis has the same device price across board for all its One Plan, be it 128, 158 or 188. No added incentive to go for a higher commitment plan given the relatively high price for its data plan.

last year the midnight deliveries were spot on and i think they only choose 50 customer for that
and the rest people like me who wasnt that lucky were given the standard delivery from brighstar which went
chaos and i had to go collect and argue with them at their office in PJ !! Can you imagine, opt for deliver yet went ourselves after so many days and yet its called pre order!

I think this year delivery, i think all get on midnight looking at the post you guys make saying maxis follow up with calls so finger crossed and hope it had improved!
*
Oh ya, I remember so many customers posting here last year about going to Brightstar and making a fuss due to their delivery screw ups, hehehe...

Haha. One year already. Anyway, thx for supporting Maxis. And yes, it's a good idea. But convey to my colleagues. I'll leave it to the retail team to manage the crowd.
*
Less verbal abuse for maxis this time around compared to last year's pre-order process smile.gif

This year, we prepared months ahead. Got a bit of a hiccup at the beginning, but we did recover.

So, thank you all for deciding to go another round of iPhone with us smile.gif

Maxis say :
The iPhone 6s will be available on sale nationwide and online starting on the 16 October 2015!
To ensure the iPhone model you want is available, please use our RealView stock checker.
For your convenience, we're keeping 3 Maxis Centres – KLCC (KL), All Seasons Place (PG) and Danga Bay (Johor) - open from 12am - 3am, so you can collect your pre-orders or buy it on the spot!
*
Does that mean they will entertain walk ins? I thought they will only entertain the pre orders and walk ins only at 10am tomorrow?

Maxis website already put this msg.

Ya but sometimes what they put on their website and what is communicated to their staff don't match. I can see from their twitter account they are telling customers that walk in purchase is not allowed tonight...
