I'd say already massive improvements. Last year launch in November, I had to hunt high and low for 64GB till finally getting it two months later, in January this year , ha ha ha...

Got rose gold plus 64gb?

This morning 830 checked real view for 6s+ rose gold 64gb. Noticed Maxis Cheras had limited stock and Gardens had "In Stock". Since Cheras was near for me, went to check at 9am but was told out of stock (proved real view isn't 100% realiable) .. Next stop, Gardens to hunt the phone. Reached 940, 3rd in like for queueing for the gate to open at 10. They opened at 10am, went in and was attended very quickly, told the model I want and the plan, then given a number to take the phone. The speed was impressive, got the phone within 15 min... The staff had a sheet of the phones stock availability for a day, noticed no 128gb stock at all across all models. And the model I want has only 8 pieces.. Space grey 64gb had 20 pieces... Then the crowd came...

Suggest to "predict" stock via real view then walk in earliest once they open shop..

i think stop at iphone 5s. i think i still got the iphone 5 maxis card with me, but dunno where i throw it now

I think maxis should set their stock levels like cinema tickets can? Everybody can see whats available and whats taken. Just like movie tickets realtime..what seats available but in this case phones!

They have it already. Check out their website. Only that its not so accurate as of now. Its supposed to be updated on an hourly basis.

may or may not be easy to implement. this will cause extra load on the database access which could also arise other issues. u dont c more than 1000 users to buy cinema tickets within 5min do u?

do note that r some user(me included) will use multiple browser/device to open the site.

I also checked with a dealer near my place yesterday and he said they haven't received any allocation from maxis. He did try to persuade me to sign up for a Note 5 though

Unless they link their internal system to their website it'll be very difficult to get a realtime up-to-the-minute update on stock availability. I do agree with you that their current system doesn't really give a true indication of their stock levels and a lot can happen between hourly updates.
