You can sub but as far as I know the minutes and data can't be shared. You need another plan for your sub line.

I think Monday is OK la, your chance quite high. I got mine last Saturday, confirm no chance. But so happy to get a 64GB in stock that I couldn't be bothered

Just passed by Pyramid maxis about an hour earlier, some stocks for 6+ 64GB Gold and Space Grey

If you need a plan with unlimited calls and SMS then yes, but the data is only 3GB, which is quite little for the commitment fees you are paying.

No hidden charges but you need to bear a few things in mind: -

1. There is a 6% Govt tax
2. Apply for e-billing to waive itemized billing charges
3. Does not include calls/SMS to overseas numbers
4. Does not include SMS to those five digit SMS numbers that you send to register or participate in various contests, etc.

If you've been with maxis postpaid for over a year and have a good payment record, they will most likely waive your advance payment. I got mine waived even though I'm not a maxis one club member. For prepaid customers though, I'm not sure.

As for the data, I think it depends on your usage. I've been on 2GB for more than a year now and never exceeded the quota before, although did hit 80% by the last week a couple of times. I have UniFi at home, so data is mostly for browsing and Whatsapp/FB during day time or when I'm out.

Assuming you take the iValue simple plan, it's RM50 commitment with 200 minutes of free calls and 100 SMS to all networks, so you're pretty much covered if your usage is low. And seeing how you are on RM30+ prepaid now, I think it's about there or thereabouts. In terms of device price savings, there really isn't much. Assuming you take a 16GB iPhone 6, then you save only RM 150. If you take a 64GB one, you save RM 170. But you're gonna need a data and call plan anyway so the savings is probably good enough to get you a decent case and screen protector.

If you think you will need more than 1GB data per month, then it's probably better to get the phone without contract at a retail outlet or nego your way in our Garage Sales where there are some people who bought the phones on contract and are willing to let it go slightly lesser than retail price and get the Surfmore 50 plan which gives you 2GB data. Mind you though, no free calls or SMS for Surfmore, it's pay as you use. If you use RM30+ a month now, then with Surfmore it becomes RM80+ a month.

So if you really think 1GB data is sufficient, then iValue Simple does quite nicely.

If you have no color preference, and assuming you are in Klang valley, try KLCC, Gardens or Pyramid in the mornings.

When I signed for my 64GB iPhone 6 Plus at maxis Pyramid last weekend I overheard a customer service guy telling a customer the 128GB ones were limited because there were some with technical issues recalled by Apple.

I've used 6.4GB only, haha, and 1GB is my music collection!
