What is true is that all networks have their own problems. Everyone should choose the one that best suits them.

I have used DiGi, Celcom and U prior to maxis. Believe me, all have their own shortcomings. Maxis is not perfect but works for me.

I think largely depends on your usage. I'm on iValue 1 which is RM100 for 2GB, 1000 minutes maxis to maxis and 333 minutes maxis to others. Previously I was on Surfmore 50 for a year so I know my data usage doesnt exceed 2GB, and so it's enough for me. The calls definitely won't exceed that many minutes, ha ha. The only setback is need to pay for SMS to non maxis numbers but with WhatsApp, WeChat, etc. I hardly SMS anymore anyway. So for me it's way better than One Plan.

Plus iValue can sign one year contract, One Plan minimum 2 years.

Yes, these are the dealers playing games. All maxis does is apologize on their behalf and no action taken. In other threads, we have some complaints that Celcom dealers insist you buy their accessories. DiGi so far I haven't read anything yet.

Sunway Carnival is a dealer. The authorized maxis centers in Penang are Queensbay Mall and I-Center. On the mainland is Perai and AEON Bukit Mertajam.

In the past couple of weeks it seems our friends up north are the ones still hunting for the 64GB ones. I also noticed that the 6 seems harder to come by than the 6 Plus.

Again, maxis will say they can't control their dealers...

If you go to maxis dealers they will tell you that probably because they earn a higher commission for signing customers to the one plan. Go to a maxis centre and you are free to choose any plan you want.

I think most people got their phones from maxis already, maybe with the exception of those looking for 128GB phones - noticed this topic slowed down by quite a lot, hehe

True, guys. I just passed by maxis centre e-Curve, and nothing available except 6 Plus 16GB...
