Yes. I feel grateful that this SA given chance to me to go back to do something. I managed to get a friend which agree to swap the rim with me temporarily but his rim was previous batch of stock rim and not sure can work or not.
*
should be no problem since stock rim anyways nod.gif

*in case* hq ask further, say pot holes wrecked your new stock rims and had to get replacements (also stock) or something gua? lol

Had prob with the app using phone before, doesnt seem to be accurate, no idea setting or what.

So usually I will get tresponder  thumbup.gif
*
OC4/3 outside timed me, difference is in the millisecond so should be pretty accurate enough.

definitely transponder/TTA when i'm confident enough which at this i got a decent amount with what the opt time is showing me. (that timing is an estimation/guideline on the best timing for all the sectors/turns, in other words, if i drove perfectly, that timing is very possible to obtain)

I am sure 2:5x range is possible with Insiplah since Swift Sport also doing that sort of timing

any guide on brand/spec for CVT oil and engine oil?
kindly assist on schedule interval .

i try to download service manual, but .exe only appear, some more my internet not so good to download huge file sad.gif
*
Cvt best to stick with mitsubishi Diaqueen J1 (not sure if the newer J4 is compatible)
Engine oil if you're willing to spend on full synthetic via reputable brands that's properly certified (like the American petroleum Institute) Then can consider 0w20 as is recommended in the service manual.

The first page service manual link is obviously outdated so don't download any exe

Regardless information I've mentioned can be Googled, look up service manual or your owner manual which should be included even for used car.

You see owner manual, recommend 100k rofl!
If you not sohai like me keep over 200 kph for over an hour, MTL (75w80) is fine.

I'm using mtl , but changed twice in 20k km lol! (first to drain shitty stock oil, second cuz my mtl become water lol)

no la the gear oil become watery, cooked jor lol
was from my singapore trip ma, 2x over 200kph for over an hour.
when reach destination can't shift properly, had to wait for it to cool down sweat.gif

will post youtube video whenever i stop procrastinating lol

atm still on MTL, i still got 2 more bottles to go... bought extra during 1Utama Redline booth/sales
http://www.1utama.com.my/DesktopModules/In...014926584689480
less than rm50/bottle so bought 4 finishing their MTL stocks during their closing lol

with the 2 bottles still sitting around, i still have to finish them... and maybe mixing with Motul or something... unless i can find pennzoil synchro or amsoil ones... tough luck as pennzoil under UMW, and no one stocks for low viscosity/synchro purposed gear oils.

atm seems like motul is the only alternative even when it's semi synthetic, but i guess can trust motul on their reasons keeping it semi syn, maybe similar/same reasons on VW with their mineral based DSG oils (to withstand heat? dunno, that's what killed my MTL anyways)

Went through the receipts the first owner passed to me. Saw Proton changed the gear oil @ 75k. The time I had trouble shifting out of 1st and into 3rd was @ 110k. Could be bearing dying out but replaced with MT85 improved quite a margin but still had the 1st and 3rd gear issue once in a blue moon.

Think 100k is too much for MT drivers with our awesome Jackie chan shifting.
*
try changing the gear oil again in 10 or 20k km, and see if it further improves as the newer MT85 is clearing out the what's left over from the old oil.
alternatively, do consider MTL (which is 75w80 instead of w85) wink.gif

and yea, with jackie chan shifting, 10k may be very subjective even laugh.gif

izzit like this one bottle enough? or need more?

ps ya because im still newbie

besides what is the different between mt85 and mt90
*
3 bottles, because 2.5 liters needed (2+ liters in actual)

difference = viscosity.

lol I duno how u drive, I did 12 hour + endurance with MTL, from kl to kelantan via pantai timur expressway. No problem shifting, on highway sure over 170km/h. biggrin.gif

btw motul gear 300 is GL4/GL5, I read that our gb better use GL4, GL5 might be bad for the syncro. RM140 per liter ... the price  sweat.gif
*
well i did over 210-220kph, only needed less than 2 hours to reach singapore lol
full time 100% throttle all the way until R&R pump petrol before reaching customs checkpoint.

and no i'm not referring to gear 300.
If you haven't forgotten, I actually had a public excel sheet to look up on possible gear oils compatible with the viscosity/GL4 ratings Mitsubishi specified however since no one else bothered to exchange ideas i just continue updating it myself without posting it again laugh.gif
speaking of which i need to update it again for my service earlier on Friday morning... morning 8:30am to 12:30pm just for an oil change laugh.gif

Techosynt... not fully synthetic, made from highly refined dino oil.. just like minyak cap helang. You wunna pour that in to ya gb? Hehehee
*
read the pdf, it says made from synthetic base stocks, so lol.

VW went with mineral oil for their dsg, so no harm trying it out.
besides, Mitsubishi only specified API rating and viscosity, no mention about synthetic or not.

preferably i'd like to go with penzzoil/amsoil, however unable to find them locally so still looking around for other options.
also considering to stock up should i visit Singapore again.
