depends how you drive la
when you pump 97 you drive like normal?
or you want to drive and test how far you can drive?
Yeap normal since I don't rev my car much. Shifting 2.5k - 3k.
From home to work and back around 25km each day.
With 97 computer avg 12+km/l.
With 95 computer avg 10-11+km/l.
Then calculate only during refuel let the pump click never add in any extra petrol and divide with total mileage on the trip meter. Quite consistent since I've been on 97 for about 7 tanks already. Before this was on 95 for 3-4 months until the 97 drop.

u need to average out to get the actual figure.. sometimes less jam.. sometimes more heat .
even ron95 .. i can sometimes get 10km/L .. sometimes 12km/L .. 1km differences i will take tat as a variance.. not enough to convince me the petrol give more milleage..
and there is something i notice.. when i pump 97 .. i tend to look at the meter all the time to justify the milleage as well (myth busting that time) .. i can tell u .. physcologically u try to be light footed a bit .. thats why that time i pump 97 .. i purposely ignore.. and tekan like normal.. and i can tell u .. at most .. 0.5km diff... neglectable
Point taken, cause calculate back the "extra mileage" I got from 97 not much difference from purchasing extra 95 back when it was 25 cents difference. 1km-1.5km/l is so called breakeven. Unless can get 3+km/l then can consider.

most the time i get the refuel blink at 460-470km .. (KL traffic) .. when im on 97 that time.. i think 480+ .. does not justify the extra millege at all
u need to consider the evaporation as well.. last time when i drive my putra.. bloody hell when im at proton plant ..(project site.. ) .. FC was farking terrible.. i was wondering why... after the project ended.. fc back to normal.. hell yeah .. very huge difference.. full tank can be 50km diff... HUGE open space.. with car park under HOT SUN all day long..
The heat issue is due to hot air (less dense) or the fuel evaporation? If I'm not mistake our car does not have a return line to the fuel tank to cut back on emission or something.
But it does have a line to a canister for fuel vapor or something for the vapor to go in and be used by the engine when it's running? Have to dig back the car diagram lol.

Not familiar with the boosted campro but normally they can squeeze out more power from the stock block by increasing the boost.
But on stock mechanicals might not be much but still way more than a N/A remap can do for sure. Unless the stock mechanicals on the boosted campro are crap lol. Granted campro not a popular engine unlike the RB26DETT or 2JZ-GTE where owners are known to get insane amounts of power just on stock parts with increased boost. But I might be wrong since I haven't looked into the boosted campro scene.

Now I understand y those with 3rd party car alarm easy get stolen. Last time I was thinking what happen to the original alarm. They throw away or what
I don't know whether just third party keyless system will be easier to steal. Maybe even original keyless system equipped vehicles are easier to steal compared to the conventional key start system?
given a 5% margin of error... i dare to conclude .. no difference at all .. ron95 n ron97 .. (stock car tuning)
look at the output .. 0.4 difference with Ron97 better milleague on Polo Sedan .. i treat that as a slight error..
Condition .. climate all same.. road jam also same.. but driving style both driver must be slightly different.. i will take tat as the differences... its totally neglectable... dun waste your money ..
Back to 95 already Not seeing 12km+/l anymore but then RM1.70/l so nevermind I guess lol.

Got also.
Dual zone motion sensor. Sensitivity can be adjust summore.. can be integrated to our etacs.
dual zone means.. External says u 1m away can sense u.. Give warning.. (do not kacau!) .. Second zone is inside the car d.. (eh arsehole.. Leave my car alone!)
i worry too sensitive only. The motion sensor use RF signals, somewhat like a radar.
Can chase the stupid cats from climbing my car also? The external sensor thing.

I think last few months I mentioned there's a chugging sound coming from my engine and I suspected it was my chain.
Finally found a video which sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing.
Why I suddenly bring this up again is because this morning when I started my car, there was a loud Kraaaak sound coming from the engine bay and disappeared after a few seconds.
Anyway going to get my timing chain inspected tomorrow morning and see how serious it is but I think it's already due for replacement already.
Perhaps Proton using 15w50 might be the cause? No idea but this sound has been there ever since I got the car.
EDIT : How the cold start "Kraaak" noise sounds like and disappears after a few seconds :
