bring small/cheapass bag that's big enough to pack your daily stuff for a week. bring lesser clothes.

once you got there, go shopping spree. buy a bigger bag, dump the old bag, come back with new bag + new clothes

i think i share the same concern as TS, 'cause we're joining the same program in usa. anyhow, i've got a solution.

this is what i'm gonna do:
use cheapass bag, pack as little as i can. reach there, work, buy new bag, clothes, dump the old bag.

i'm planning to buy a backpack since i have plan to backpack around a few states like NY and NJ.
