QUOTE(H2D @ May 19 2015, 02:48 PM) dun worry, just dont tax yourself, cycle at a pace that is not tiring. the weight n size offers a huge relief if u gona carry it up lrt naik tangga etc... place of storage... yeah the lrt stairs will be really dreadful if the bike is heavy. btw, just want to share with you guys, I found this ad yesterday which seems to good to be true, and contact the seller. http://www.ez.com.my/listing24349.htmthe seller reply, rm800 including shipping from Sabah, which is quite unbelievable. But he said the shop is clearing stock and gave me shop address but no name, "WE are at Sabindo plaza Jalan Kee Abdullah 91000 Tawau" and ask me do I know anybody in Tawau to verify for me. I don't btw, and he said if you scared go buy somewhere else... he he...itchy to know, anybody from Tawau here?

QUOTE(H2D @ May 20 2015, 11:15 AM) u still looking at dahon cheapest model.... the bapak even included these old fashion clamp for u.... on the vybe c7... even the china brands don't use these anymore... thanks! I stop looking dahon oledi actually that guy just dont know or simply couldnt care less, with strings of email later, it was found out actually the rm800 is for old model dahon single speed adult boardwalk. he sent me 3 pics of bicycle each selling 800, 1400, 1800 and the vybe c7a is the 1400. so I told him, oh now it made sense la, that actually the 800 is not for vybe c7a. so I told him that the advertisement he had was misleading and he just said ok thank you. lol. I gonna check out the Samy shop you reccommend later this weekend. This post has been edited by o.d: May 20 2015, 01:20 PM

QUOTE(H2D @ May 27 2015, 02:28 PM) see weight no much use wan nid to go there to feel... yeah, I go see the xds 16" that stated 11kg in website. the roll and fold. but then, I try lift, actually still heavy (I'm a lady), also doesn't really look compact to carry into lrt and try the rolling mechanism, not so rolling. So now I K.I.V. the idea of folding bike into lrt. thinking maybe I should get full size bike to park at lrt, but still think of how great it will be if I have bike for the other side of LRT http://www.evanda.com.my/product/index.php...troller=product

QUOTE(H2D @ May 27 2015, 10:27 PM) this model for u is heavy, did u try to lift a 20 inch version....? so far i think only one with trolley rack n budget price... which bike shop u go to check out the bike? haha yeah, the 20 inch one, I tried too, heavy. so this is why I now think of getting just regular bike to park at LRT, lol. surprisingly, I tried to lift Raleigh Ugo which on paper state about 12kg++, but it feels lighter than the xds 16". I called the evanda company that you gave and guess what, they recommend me Samy too, I guess he is the only shop that carry lots of xds.

QUOTE(H2D @ May 28 2015, 08:45 AM) Samy is not the only bike shop wit xds. Think u din talk to salesman n ask ofis ppl instead . Maybe u hold other section of bike while lifting it... haha ha ha maybe. I hold the way I imagine to lift while climbing stairs or bring into lrt, to get closest to real situation if I am to commute with that bike. yeah I asked office people not salesman.

QUOTE(anykti @ May 29 2015, 09:26 AM) Dunno about the actual purpose in a bicycle but I only know the following cos i am a dirt biker: "The wheels on a dirt bike differ in size from front and back but other than that have the same features. The front wheel typically runs bigger than the rear wheel which offers a more comfortable ride over rough terrain. You can get front dirt bike wheels between 18- and 21-inches. The rear wheel ranges between 17- and 19-inches. The small rear wheel maximizes the acceleration efforts of the dirt bike." » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « thanks anykti, in bicycle maybe the same but not much acceleration because the front wheel is too big compared to the rear. he he he. but the bike do have 6 speeds though.

QUOTE(etigge @ May 31 2015, 10:07 PM) Better to have a visual and also a tryout on folding, rolling and carrying. To be honest, designs like this needs a very good mechanical engineering and prices like 500 bucks won't really go far. Even the Strida cost thousands but many buy cheaper version from China and then leave it to rot in some corner of the house. I would advise to stick to the Trinx 1606 if you really want to save. At least it will last you a year or two. Also it is aluminum compared to the steel that's on the link which will rust! yeah, unfortunately cannot see first, as shop in penang. I agree with you to go see and feel, because that time I have my eyes set on the 16" xds, then I go see, not really easy to carry around. trinx 1606 is in my shortlist, but can't find seller (at least from my googling). One shop in selayang said container for 16" trinx hasn't arrive and some bike shop in facebook told me no stock and need to wait. So, I'm still shopping around then he he he btw, in some blogspot, they say if carry in lrt / ktm must put in bag, that means, cannot roll like trolley lah, right? must be able to carry by hand then. QUOTE(H2D @ Jun 1 2015, 01:02 PM) xds 16' she oso sed kenot tahan, summore wit roling cart.. wht better can the trinx be.... hehe the rolling cart not function leyh... the wheel not moving, or only 1 moving making rolling drag. also, after folded, the rolling wheels are designed to make you roll the wheel not parallel with the bike wheel, so you roll on the wider side. then, despite 16" i think because of the trolley rack, it make it bigger when folded, so bit bulky to carry into lrt. chill lah H2D, i'M still shopping, so looking at many models as I can, coz I dont want to buy then 2 weeks use and leave it rot at home, lol
