oklah liddat, because i read several (maybe older) blogposts reminding folders to be kept in bag for commuting train to be courteous to fellow commuters and one post even said the KTM people don't allow the bike to be in unless put in bag.

Truth is don't b a lazy n ignorant n selfish ppl la. The bike chain if kena other ppl, sure will leave oil stain, there is a rule, n stil ppl wana ignore it.

Jz use a bag to cover/ drape over frm the top, u can make one.

The seat post wheel, the expensive one will work better but cost over rm270? here.
The wheel oni attachment shown on handsonebike, if u raise ur seat post more, then u nid to remove it.

Both oni fits big diameter seat post, ....

is it worth the money to buy trolley roller for folding bike that is more than rm100?

let say,if u want to roll the bike like 5 times a week,20 times a month and for upcoming year daily, then for me its worth it.dont be mad and get me wrong, but that is my humble opinion.better buy something worth such as gearset, maybe something else or the bag itself..

3 years already using folding bike,no issue want to trolley the bike or not.sometimes i carry it,and sometimes i roll it half folded (rise the seatpost and roll even though sometimes it sway around without control).i like to carry it with bag,and its better!

whats the matter most, will u ride the bike a lot??

even though i live in ipoh (town without lrt to commute), but i experience few public transport such as ets and buses..

but when it comes in public transport,..
yes,im using the bag to cover it.otherwise KTM for sure will charge extra for ur bike.

Well , Taiping to Ipoh, there is a no hills route, Take Taiping to Terong, then to Beruas and then to Parit and then to Pusing and finally to Ipoh. Small gradient hills only, not like those in Menora tunnels. tongue.gif

QUOTE(etigge @ Jun 1 2015, 09:19 AM)
Why ask about disc brakes when you already purchased your bike?  tongue.gif

Just for your consolation, V-brakes are better on folding bikes but disc brakes are actually more efficient IF IT IS A HYDRAULIC ones. I say all disc brakes on folding bikes are mechanical, meaning they are still actuated by cable. Just like V-brakes, they are dependent on how heavy you pull the levers to stop. We are talking about cable brakes , OK  icon_rolleyes.gif  Now imagine the braking surface.

The V-brakes braking surface is 406 mm long on one revolution, that's a long surface while disc brakes is usually 6 inch or 180mm diameter only. That's a small surface. It's OK if it was hydraulically assisted, just finger touch and the force is strong but cable, hmm.................depends on how strong your fingers are. The advantage on disc though is, it works the same when wet while V-brakes you need to modulate first, meaning press , release, press release before it actually stops. Problem is folding bikes can't use hydraulic disc brakes because of the hose which cannot be folded much. Unless you don't fold your bike, that is........

Want a better V-brakes, can go for Shimano XT sets. It actually cost more than the mechanical disc brakes and even the lower end Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.  biggrin.gif
