Hi folks..
Do u guys hear a "kluk" sound on reaching  the first 40km speed.  This happens on every first start of car moving to speed 40km.

Aircon off
Radio Off
Wind down windows...

Try it out. see whether u guys heard this sound on ur City or not.

Is this normal?

Installed this a week back, very handy, unlike stereng lock which is kinda hassle.

By the way guys, normally if you get into the car, do you straight away start the engine and move the car? my cousin says have to actually twist half of the key, wait for certain lights to go off at the dash board, and then only twist the key until the engine starts, anyone else practice this?

this actually means the lock stay there? will it be like blocking legs and etc? I ask price from klang di rm320 for the lock ...

Like that lor, got pedal lock vs no pedal lock, sure steal the one with less hassle.
Also stick your car with all sort of sticker....Cobra alarm, Viper alarm, tokcok alarm....etc. Sked them a bit.

For keyless still can i think. You can still start the other stuff without starting the car. The push start button got 3 stage. I think press 2 time will enable all the electric function like power windows. Because i always forgot to close the side retractable window when driving waifu car...always need to press twice to start electric function again to retract the side mirrors.

So it's same concept. I think when pressed twice (without starting engine), the blue lights come on? Not too sure, didn't take notice.

bros... what if procuring insurance to compensate 100% of the car price? better isnt?

but the locks will be installed too... anyone here still bank on the old gear locks? the one installed under the car? or embedded into the gear

I never tinker anything in my car. Took me a year plus to realize can press the light buttons on my Inspira to turn on/off (my friend told me)...took me YEARS to find out something (forgot what) on my old KIA Sephia....my friends always asked me..."Is this your car ah???" 

DIY the side steps and Foot Light for my ride. 



I still prefer white bulb for the Foot Light. 

can any owners show us how the alarm sounds?

and do we need to change the alarm system to ones which has noise when you lock and unlock?

anyone tried pressing the push start button in "D" gear when you are driving? Just curious will there be any safety measures with push start.

By the way owner on an E spec for a month now.

I didn't snap much photo for the DIY. So, I simply draft out the DIY idea here.. 

First thing, buy a plug and play illuminated side step. Which I get from Sato auto acc m sdn bhd on Mudah



RM160 + RM20 postage to my place.

The side steps comes with the complete wiring and socket for our ride. Which means you no need to cut any wire. No warranty issue on this DIY. Just plug and play.

On the wiring of the side step, I tap on 2 extra bulb for the foot light (red/black wire). See the photo below.



Bought the T5 socket for the foot light bulb on eBay. Which cost me around RM5 for each of it.
Then buy a wire holder from electric shop. Tied the bulb on it and put 3M double side tape behind. And ready to put below the dashboard. Oh ya, the T5 blue LED from eBay as well.



After the wiring work is done. Its time to open interior cover part by part to route the wire. Those steps I follow some tutorial on youtube. Important reminder. Be extremely careful to the handling of the retaining tabs and clips particularly.

alright, for number 6, just want to find out is it normal for that kind of noise or not as my other friends' side mirror doesn't sound like so harsh during it "work" ma...
1. send to get them fix, and they claim fixed, and now getting worse...
3. it's 2k-3k rpm, i don't really rev hard as used to drive manual... usually during the long straight road, i used to unintentionally drag it till 100km/h with that 2-3k rpm and i don't hear any gear shift(unless it shift so silently until i don't noticed at all la
well, i guess it depends on luck?
1. alright, hopefully 2nd attempt on feb or march, they will solve it later during my 10k service...

overall, my previous Myvi brake doesn't make that kind of noise, maybe it's modded disc brake from toyota's... the only time i heard that kind of noise is when i drive my myvi thru flooding area and leave it there idle
as for the gear shift, either i'm so "heavy foot" or maybe i should release the throttle a bit when it it 40/50kmh next time for it to change gear?
the rest of it seem like QC issue and need to get them check (i know la, dun expect honda city's quality as good as some other luxury car ma! )
