any test we can do to confirm if it's so called HW issue?

i guess i can power up my S3 and test it over the next few days and see if it's the same...

powered up my S3 and tested. ya... the wifi seems to work. can connect to my phone hotspot, office network... just won't connect to my home Streamyx router. dem, that means it's useless at home. dunno why.

since i powered up the phone, checked and notice there's update for my CM. now running nightly CM14...

Quick question, my sammy original charging adapter and cable is dying on me. Any other brands u guys recommend ? Is Remax any good?

apparently, i bought REMAX LESU 2-in-1 RC-050t (1.3A) at Sunway Velocity but aliexpress is selling way cheaper (half-price) or try out ORICO ADC (3A) even cheaper.

the cable is not too shabby & tangle-free but the connection is flimsy & quite easy to bend cos i bent one of unit during the test + able to achieve 1A (tested with boeffla kernel) & tested with 2 different USB power adapter cos one of the unit have an issue.

if u purchase here, good side u have within 1 year warranty to claim. by the way, the cable is for my mum MI3W, she said insert the connection don't have the snappy feel compared with the original default cable.

Hmmm I see, looking for a good solid quality one. If there's non, then i might just buy a new original sammy cable & adapter.

try out yourself cos it really depend. designed by HK & made in CHINA.

my s3 still stronger running lineage latest nightly... with boefella kernel...snappy compared to cm13....

never though this thread still alive. ...i would like to know if anyone here had S3 japanese version by Docomo (i.e sc-06d ). Im trying to look for the new battery, but it looks like its different from the Malaysia S3 (I9300) battery..very appreciate if someone can shed me some light. TQIA

guys, i am having problem in charging my phone. it charge to 460 after checking with galaxy charging current apps which is usb charging speed despite testing with many charger, cable and power bank. the weird thing is however, when i charge using my sister power bank (PVGO-brand), i am able to charge full speed. anybody encounter this before?
