true enough - i just finished flash the stock Portugal rom twice and twice successful but my S3 stuck at Samsung logo - go to into stock recovery and wipe dalvik cache twice and successful but still stuck at Samsung logo.
Well RIP my S3 it has been a good journey between us


P/S now wait - i reformat the internal storage is stock recovery now it is back to normal but still cant get connected to my unifi but can get connected to my S7E - we'll see how long this time it can last.

Guess it's hardware problem then.. I got a friend with s3 facing similar wifi problem like yours.. then she switch to iphone..

My S3 will running strong....

My s3 as well.. haha.. now running RR android N.. wonder how far ROM development goes with this legacy device..

Mine still running stock with Boeffla Kernel....

Never update for 2 years... can't recall as well...

s3 is good still works like new.but cant update anymore stuck at 4. something android. now many games and apps cannot run on s3

Anyone has this problem where wifi keep on getting authentication error?

I can only connect to wifi when my S3 is directly next to the router.

Already reset, flash to countless rom, but problem still persist. Could it be wifi chip got problem liao?

hmmm... for me, i noticed the s3 is picky about with AP it connects to. some AP, it can detect and connect just fine. some AP (sadly, including the one in my house)... it just simply won't connect and telling me some error. i think it's just some firmware issue...?

using CM... but forgot which one liao...

I have tested on few ROMs still yield the same results - even if it get connected to a very close router nearby,it is very slow connection
