I'm no expert but I think most smartphone recently, even those high-end flagship like HTC M9 and Ssung S6 are experiencing these heating issues - could be due to the octacore processor they're using.

8 cores processor for mobile kinda overkill , But the phone sure powerful.
*
8 core is so main stream, every single major flagship OEM is offering it

MediaTek latest chip is 10 core and Mediatek has invested into Meizu so we can gtee 100% will be seeing it in future Meizu HP (either MX5 or other models)

They always run away from the real problems.. such as waze problem in meizu note...
Today they replied me via fb msg.. they said that they received a good news, the parts will arrived by next week.. Let's see how its going..
NO MORE MEIZU PRODUCTS...
*
actually this problem is not facing MYR FB only, u can go over to the main Meizu FB also got people complain...
so Meizu Management sure know ... but why they are not fixing it - that is the main issue

is it due to MediaTek chip problems ? or other hidden issues ????

so far, there is two main apps that is not "working well" with Meizu

WAZE & CandyCrush - are there any more famous apps that crash ?

Damn, how long do we have to wait until Lollipop comes out?  dry.gif
*
Beta version is out, but from many comments, super unstable, G_Mail dun work, etc
i rather wait for the more "stable one" ...

when Lollipop will be out ? FB say JUNE - but never say which day ...

my guess

Note 2, MX5 but not the PRO VERSION (that will be the 10 Core MediaTek) ,

No rumors / but I got a strong feeling ...

- FITNESS BAND - Cos Meizu is so crazy over Xiaomi, ie, want to compete with them ...

they have a very successful budget fitness band, less than USD $16, of cos Meizu can see the demand /potential in this market ....

if they can beat this Fitness Band, i sure buy !!!!

http://www.yuplaygod.com/accessories/yufit/#

maybe tablet, smart watch

cant rule this out ... but chances are slim - even tablet will be LOW END ... dun think HIGH END SPECS

if this is real , then no MX5 _ but i still betting on MX5 (simple, they stopped production of MX4 Pro, Meizu die die need a flagship phone for marketing , showcase, etc)

The prawns will be overcooked I afraid...

Jokes aside, I remember coming across an article regarding why having so many cores in so little space is no good. The 2 main reasons is heating problems and battery consumption.

It's like putting a 5 tonnes truck's engine inside a Kancil.

i am super keen on a Meizu Fitness Band (actual smart watch - my gut feelings is lower)

didnt feel XiaoMi fitness band is that good and also way too mainstream, like everywhere i see a few people wearing ...

randomly saw this Indian OEM fitness band ... (hopefully Meizu can match or exceed the Fitness Band specs)

Just download Google Fit and it enable your steps tracking without a band or watch.
