This is why people are making noise in bungie forum. Now let say if it have to happen like I mention, well basically its not as painful because other people have to go through the pain of upgrading twice as well lol, less painful though with the new upgrade system for exotic.

No post at post master after 1st gold public event of the day is a bug.
Normal legendaries (non raid) will go up to only 31. You need to raid to go 32.

reading from the notes, so it confirmed that the new exotics that comes with the new expansion will be available to all (non dlc purchasers) Not to sound salty...ok maybe i am. So there goes false advertising from Bungie yet again......still gonna play the game anyways. Never i have seen a game that gets so much hate and yet haters still play them lols

So basically we are suckered into paying extra for the new raid, new raid gears and 2 new strikes, and 2 new crucible maps only

whereas the rest of non-dlc players get all those new features

and yes... I'm jelly

Now it really makes me re-consider whether to get the expansion pass or not.. Paying 100+ for just those things that you mentioned..

Well if u want to get to level 32. The expansion pass is needed. That is a given. Just to be clear, i have no issues with the offerings from the expansion. What just make me feel salty is the way Bungie advertises their stuffs. Heck even their patch notes are not very clear and specific and always vague at best and creates speculations amongst the players which is not what patch note supposed to do. I am ok in paying the Expansion as i do enjoy playing Destiny so long i am being informed everything properly and clearly.

I hate how the Xur exotic upgrade doesn't even require a fully upgraded gear, moreover exotic drops after the DLC release would be the "upgraded" version. Bungie's attempt to attract and please new & casual player really **** their old player base in the ass

Nothing new. Most other MMOs out there has similar changes and most of the time these changes will hurt the old player base. However looking at things on a business perspective, as a developer you gain more from new players as they will sink in more time then older players. Especially for a game like Destiny which already garnered more hate than it should, changes like these help ease out those that have always wanted to try the game but dare not. They cant really rely much on word of mouth from older players, its the new player base that will attract more especially when they're the ones will benefit the most out of these changes.

Well... to make it sound better that RM100+ expansion pass does include 2 expansions
