i think its some kinda promo thing to get people talking about the DLC. I got a chance to play with the sword during cosmodrome patrol yesterday, and i saw someone using it on moon patrol.

New update from bungie. Weekly heroics and nightfalls will be increased by 2 light levels. Means soloing will probably only be doable at lvl 30. All the more reason to do raid and push for lvl 30 at least.

Unless the new legendary (non-raid) gear can reach lvl 30 cause it doesnt make sense to essentially lock out casual players from the weekly and nightfalls. More info here :

For titan he'll probably sell armamentarium again . As for weapon obviously i want icebreaker but my guess is either gjallarhorn or thunderlord. But i want to see how the new leveling for the exotics work. If really need to reset, then hampeh.


77 wizard's impact is unmatched but I prefer the purifier i just got today, it also has void damage with accelerated coils perk. Speaking of hard light, i saw someone get this in the crucible today lol. And speaking of crucible, it seems there's an increase of people using the mythoclast

Its not a problem, there are still people starting up new characters or just started playing. Although the DLC is coming soon, i believe they'll have new gear to balance things out for those who start playing late. If you need teammates just add us, the more the merrier.

question guys, will xur appear in the tower tomorrow? since the new dlc will be released and people are talking about re-spec-ing their exotics.

hmm i see.. i thought he would, from bungie forum talk seems like people are expecting him tomorrow. In any case nightfall resets tomorrow, if anyone wanna join me, add me 'unif1end'. Ill be playing in the evening before i start work. If time permits i'll run it twice with both my characters.

yea already completed the new stories and heroic strike + nightfall for my warlock. My hunter will do tomorrow, but for this week's strike/nightfall definitely need teammates, and at least one sunbro. Trying to solo without a sunsinger is gonna be nearly impossible.

My worst nightmare came true.. the new strike boss is a bullet sponge shielded wizard . Between the wizards' drum solo kamehameha and the knights' watergun of doom + arc burn, it was real challenging.

The new vendor gear allows players to reach level 31, niiiiceee! and received the 'Murmur' legendary fusion rifle from completing the story. This weapon can switch between arc and solar damage. Sweeeet! Btw thanks to SilverCrimz and Xenn for the nightfall and heroic.

Rushing to lvl my gear to 30 now so i can finally join u guys for crota's raid. Btw i noticed the new lvl 26 vanguard roc has a chance of getting legendary engrams. I got 1 as a reward within 3 strikes.

Let us know if the perk refills the entire magazine or only a few bullets..

If anyone has not yet done the urn quest from eris, its not worth it IMO. The reward is just a legendary gauntlet for your class. It doesn't outperform the vendor gears in any way.

The steps :

1. get the urn from xur (1 strange coin)
2. Kill 25? thralls with solar fusion and collect their ashes. Death resets your progress.
3. Kill 5 cursed thralls with melee. Death resets your progress. This one is tricky.. make sure you have enough defense to survive their blast. I found 'The siege of the warmind' mission to be the easiest to do these.
4. Collect 100 sullen hearts by killing acolytes and wizards with void fusion. Death resets your progress.
5. Kill Urzok, The Hated through a public event on earth's skywatch. Just go to skywatch and wait. For me he spawned during the 'defend the warsat' event. Make sure you have a strong arc weapon, his shields regen very fast.
6. Bring the urn back to eris. Then, go to the temple of crota and kill two ogres. Jump on the giant urn, then quickly go back to the entrance to avoid the poison. Just keep killing mobs till the ogres appear.
7. Bring the urn back to xur, then bring the eyes back to eris.
8. Done.

These steps should be correct if memory serves me well.

The perks are reload speed for scout rifles (scout rifles have fast reload speeds anyway, and you'll be using them at a distance, so reload speed is not really critical) and increased melee attack speed. The discipline and strength stat was lower than my existing gauntlet as well. Do it only if you are a completionist or need a few extra shards. Otherwise grinding the ROC strikes are more rewarding.

Also xur.. truth x3 now already argh.. Any hunters bought the acrosdfiggldfkh symbiote helm? looks hella cool.

woah i can see why this gun is beast!

The timeframe allowed for chaining those precisions seems forgiving as well. Man... i can see that this beast is gonna be the next boss killer.

The final damage upgrade is the same on both guns at 331. What you want for handcannons is the impact, and stability as your second concern. Higher impact gives you more damage, and stagger enemies more frequently. This is true even if both guns have the same damage values. If i were you i'd use the one on the left, as the perk to reduce grenade cooldown is super useful.

I guess they had to do that to balance the weapon out. If it had the ROF of the PnT it would be insane.

Sorry for late reply.. if you plan to get an exotic helm, definitely buy the engram first. I dunno if they code it that way, but i almost always get the helm for my class. That way, you can save on strange coins. If you get a helm for another class, then you can either save it for another character or dismantle it for exotic shard and save another 7 strange coins. I dont think you'll get shards from xur's engrams. Never had myself.

ran the nightfall twice today, first time got a 'The culling' legendary machine gun, second time got a legendary engram that turned into shards

haha when i entered the strike and saw u sitting up there looked like u layan blues or something..

weekly heroics have no matchmaking, you either do it solo or invite friends to your fireteam.

u got those? i got the boots and shards haha
