I failed to connect to iTunes and apps store from my iPhone 6 plus. Anyone know why?
*
Probably it's the network. Try restarting your phone.

apparently they will give u a list of apple reseller details like machines, mac city and mac studio, u jz go there with a case number provided by them...they will do inspection for u
*
Man, I hope they have the official Apple Store here instead of those resellers.

BTW, when did your friend dropped his phone ? Is it within 10 days after he received it or after ?

he got his phone sometime last week..cant rmbr which day.. but its under 10days as of today
*
Normally if it is within 10 days they allow one to one exchange with a new unit.

But, since your friend dropped it, it is considered mishandling and is not covered under warranty. Hmm, did your friend told Apple he dropped it ?

Anyway, if Apple really changed the policy then I pity those who really receive defective units D:.

Today, I had a chance to play with my cuz's Xperia Z3. IMO, it has better video stabilization (SteadyShot) than the Cinematic Video Stabilization on the iPhone 6 although it's software based too.

Do you guys think it's possible for Apple to improve their Cinematic Video Stabilization in future iOS updates ?

Are we suppose to talk about jailbreak here?

i see the rule "Jailbreak...AHEM..." meaning can or cant? just curios...
*
I think AHEM means no piracy discussion. Am I right winkiedilwy ?

But if you want to talk more about jailbreak, then I think it's better to go to jailbreak thread ?

So, I jailbroke my iPhone today, and apparently I have MLC NAND.

QUOTE(grey_m45k @ Nov 26 2014, 01:55 PM)
bro do you compare with 6 or 6+ ?
*
iPhone 6 of course, as both use software based stabilization.

I just woke up and realized that I slept on my iPhone 6. Fortunately after careful inspection, it doesn't seem to bend.

is this a sarcastic remark?

What ? No, it’s one the thing that I want to avoid when I got my iPhone 6.

I was downloading some games last night and ended up sleeping on it.

QUOTE(Boykidz93 @ Nov 28 2014, 10:00 AM)
how heavy are you?  rclxms.gif  hahahaha
*
I am a little chubby, well maybe it didn’t bend because the phone was sandwiched evenly between the pillow and my body.

Is it true that TLC NAND and MLC NAND affect the battery life of iPhone 6 ?

Actually, the storage is measured in metric bytes, for example 1000 bytes.

If it is measured in binary then 1024 bytes. iOS reported the storage using binary, that's the reason we see less space.

This is what my teacher told me and by the way I have 64GB iPhone 6 and yeah, the space is around 55GB and it's normal.

i think that very normal for all storage.
even hdd drive 1tb, we get usable is around 980gb.
*
OS X measures the external drive in metric tho, so 1 TB will appear as 1 TB.

If you have a Mac, try connecting external drive and see the capacity.

I can't pull down notification center. This bug really is annoying. Accessible only via Assistive Touch. Touch to scroll upwards works but I can't pull down for notification center. Haiz iOS's credibility really let me down. Expected it to be better coming from Android. sad.gif

I don't have this issue. Are you on 6 or 6 Plus ?

QUOTE(keropi88 @ Nov 29 2014, 08:45 PM)
hey guys, im about to make order for iPhone 6 through Apple online store, it say 3-5 business days...

may i ask, do they really mean it, 3-5 business days, or it can come earlier ? coz i want to reach me before my birthday smile.gif present for my ownself.

and asking for opinion, should i go 16 gb or 64 gb ?
*
Most people got their iPhones in 3-4 days after Apple shipped them. Delivery date also depends on stock, how long they will process your order (normally in just a day after purchase) and carrier (either DHL or UPS),

Guys, can iPhone now attach attachments (besides photos and videos) via email? I Googled and doesn't seem possible yet. sad.gif
*
Hi sis, you can install GDrive (free app), then put the attachment in there.

Then send the attachment as email via the app. The app is integrated with built-in email in iOS so receiver will see your email address when you send your email.

hmm.gif What if I don't sync my email to my phone? I'm still using the traditional way, login to my email via browsers especially my personal mailbox is full of junk forwarded emails most of the time. tongue.gif

Thanks for the heads-up anyway, at least there's still a possibility to get things work.  biggrin.gif
*
Are using Gmail ? By the way, I always sync my email with my devices, I think it is faster than using browser since not many steps involved. But I use manual fetch to save battery life.

By the way sis, if you are also worry whether the native Mail app in iOS can save incoming attachments, you don't have too. OK ? When you have GDrive installed, you can save the attachments in GDrive and view them using the app.

Friend,

May i know Iphone 6+ using the same kind of sim card as Iphone 4s ?
Btw, what are the common issue on ip6+ ?

thanks for enlighten smile.gif
*
Nope, you have to use nano SIM.

Common issues ? Hmm, bending, some people say that it is easier to scratch, camera and tint on the LCD.

For the first and second issues, if you don't sit on your phone and be careful with it, your phone should be OK.

For camera and tint, you can send it back as the device is considered defective.

If you purchase from Apple Store, you have 10 days to return the defective product, and they will send a new unit to you. If it is more than 10 days, it will be treated as a standard warranty.
