is there any way to check MLC or TLC without jailbreaking the phone ? i often use my phone to access my bank app , so i cannot go jailbreak, wont .
Yes, you can use IOKitBrowser. To do that, open Safari in your iPhone and google "pgyer iokitbrowser".
Click on the first link and click install app, then launch IOKitBrowser from your home screen.
Then go to Root > N61AP > AppleARMPE > arm-io > AppleT7000IO > ans > AppleA7IOPV1 > AppleCSI > asp > ASPStorage. Under children catalog see the default bit per cell. If it is 3, then it is TLC, if it is 2 then it is MLC.
I have to remind you that this will install third-party application on your device, so delete the app after you use it.
Anyway, if it is manufactured in November, then most likely it has MLC NAND. Go this site
http://sndeep.info/en and put your serial. It will show you the manufacturing date.
