Ah cool, so this Gdrive thingy works offline too? Like Dropbox?
*
Yeah, it works offline. Like Dropbox ? Hmm, not really, but with paid version (FileExplorer) you can integrate your Dropbox account or other cloud storages with the app. It costs $4.99 tho.

It will also allow you to access files on your computer remotely, NAS server, etc.

The free version, which is GDrive, only allows you to access files on Google Drive or local files that you save in the app. Well, it's good enough for me.

Wow, ip6 is faster ?
*
Yeah, thanks to the 1080p display on the 6 Plus, the same A8 processor needs to work a little harder.

iPhone 4 and I'm going to be honest, iPhone 6 is the first iDevice that I jailbroke. I always use stock iOS before.

I jailbroke because I wanted to see whether my iPhone has TLC or MLC NAND.

Sorry ah I ask a noob question , what's the difference TLC or MLC NAND ? Why willing to jailbreak the phone just to check the type ? So important ?
*
MLC is more reliable than TLC and is more expensive. The performance is also better. So if you get MLC, you're lucky.

Mine has MLC NAND.

With so many apps available either in lite or free or trial edition, there is not much need to jailbreak anymore IMO. Before you can really fully utilize the app also get bored of it and looking forwared to new apps. already.
*
Yeah, but some people jailbroke their devices for tweaks, not necessarily pirated apps, if that's what you mean.

I always purchase apps in the App Store. Anyway, as for now I have installed some cool tweaks like UntetheredHeySiri, CSWitcher and NoSlowAnimations. Basically tweaks that we don't have on the stock iOS, at least for now.

Of course there are drawbacks to this, like unstable device and safety, but yeah, as long as you know what you're doing, I think it's fine.

izit only for 128gb ?
*
Based on what I read on other site

16GB = MLC
64GB = TLC or MLC
128GB = TLC

Not sure if they already change to MLC in 128GB models tho.

is there any way to check MLC or TLC without jailbreaking the phone ? i often use my phone to access my bank app , so i cannot go jailbreak, wont .
*
Yes, you can use IOKitBrowser. To do that, open Safari in your iPhone and google "pgyer iokitbrowser".

Click on the first link and click install app, then launch IOKitBrowser from your home screen.

Then go to Root > N61AP > AppleARMPE > arm-io > AppleT7000IO > ans > AppleA7IOPV1 > AppleCSI > asp > ASPStorage. Under children catalog see the default bit per cell. If it is 3, then it is TLC, if it is 2 then it is MLC.

I have to remind you that this will install third-party application on your device, so delete the app after you use it.

Anyway, if it is manufactured in November, then most likely it has MLC NAND. Go this site http://sndeep.info/en and put your serial. It will show you the manufacturing date.

My ip6 battery not seem impresive..or this is normal...

I always get 5-8 hours depending on usage. Clearly, battery life is not one of the impressive features on iPhone 6.

Yeah, for those who want long battery life can get the 6 Plus. Unfortunately for me, I can't even grip that phone comfortably vmad.gif.

I just noticed that my iPhone 6 display is slightly whitish around the edges. Only visible on gray background tho doh.gif . Not visible on full brightness or other colors.

hi guys..
i tried to order online at apple website, but keep failing after i want to pay using my debit card. My debit card limit already set to more than 3k at the bank and i have more than 5k in it.

is it apple refused to deal using visa debit card??

i dont have credit card tho.
*
No sure about that since I used my mom's credit card. But people in other thread managed to purchase from Apple Store using debit card. So, I don't think Apple refuse it ?

Some quick google search also show that Apple accept debit card.

guys, anyone who bought their iphones online got a lemon/ defective unit out of the box?
*
After a few weeks of use, I noticed slight backlight bleed on my iPhone 6 and darn, I can't unsee it shakehead.gif . I don't bother to contact Apple and wait for repair or replacement because I'm sure it will probably going to take some time, so I just sold it and purchased another one again. No time to wait as I'm travelling with my family next week.

Ok thanks!

I want to ask, if I on my Data whole day, will it drain my battery very fast?

Do you all on your Data 24/7?
*
Yeah, especially if you are on LTE.

Data is turned on 24/7 except if the phone is connected to Wi-Fi.

Well, that depends. If I urgently need it tomorrow, then yeah, otherwise, no.

Just don't put it in your back pocket and then sit on it.
