Tips to Survive Major Steam Sales

Rule #1:
From now until the LAST DAY of the sale, if a game is on sale as a daily deal or flash deal, you can buy it. If it is only "on sale" through the entire sale, pass. Do not buy. Save your money (you may need it).

Rule #2:
Check each day for the daily deals, and monitor flash deals. As games come up that you want, you can get them. Just continue to exercise self control for games that are not a daily/flash deal.

Rule #3:
You can purchase the large packs, such as the THQ pack or Square-Enix/Eidos pack at any time if you wish. It is extremely unlikely that those bundles will be discounted any further, even though individual games in those packs may become daily deals. If you want a bundle, go for it. Lots of games, excellent price.

Rule #4:
On the LAST DAY of the sale, Steam traditionally makes its daily deals an encore of the most popular daily deals from the previous days. Go nuts. Buy everything you wanted. Other games are almost never on the daily deals during the last day, at this point, it is safe to buy anything else you've been waiting on.

It really looked like Far Cry 3 with some new features. Love the new mercenary feature and also more air vehicles.

Unfortunately, the dreadful crafting and skill tree with terrible UI are still there. Ugh.

Can see a lot of recycled assets too from gun models to animations to a lot of props. And do you really need an 8 minute launch trailer?

Still, it's Ubisoft, so it's a no for me.

Better spend my time with my waifu Alicia playing VC instead of buying a RM200 game that might run like crap.

TB did say the game does indirectly encourage you to stick with your team mates due to the fast combat. 2 pair of eyes can spot enemies better than one pair.

Need to finish VC first to see ma waifu Alicia till the end of war enjoy its tactical combat. It really feels like XCOM except you need to aim yourself.

Largos is pretty crap though.

Well, for RM80, its not a bad price. It is very unlikely to drop to RM80 in probably a year's time.

You can play while you have internet now. Since you have a laptop, you can bring it to a cafe to play too.

Got coop and a forgettable SP.
