Car isn't in best of shape.. Dents and scratches here and there and engine not in great shape.. So better get rid of it soonest possible.

Hi all, need advise on my brake pad change before puspakom check..
Before this used TRW DTEC. Good but short life span even though i do very little ehailing driving.
Is AVK ceramic good brand. Or have you guys tried any other brands as good as TRW DTEC but with longer life span....

My DTEC last change was January 2022. Now already ngam ngam making squeking noise...

I only tried Bendix. Very grippy. Just beware, every morning it screeeeeeach. After one strong brake, its super quiet. Something like morning karat. 😅

I can live with it for now. Cause braking power is important to me. Biting power better than TRW DTEC.

Aiyoo..late reply...i use KVK already..all in RM150 damage...ceramic break...but same also, if got moisture got screech sound...but will be gone when brakes are warm or hot....need to go to Puspakom this Friday....
Any alignment shop that can do really good alignment?

Never expect old almera mount also can be so expensive!

If OEM Nissan Mount will last like Original Nissan Japan?

Cause I tried Denco and it lasted like 1 year+ only, and after change also feels like 80% vibration absorption only

Depends on the installation also. Better give Nissan SC to install. Price is surprisingly cheaper or same. Ah beng workshop dont know the technique to install without flaw.
Mine is Denco TRT and there is no more vibration.

Before this i used Ashimori and changed in 2017. A very good brand!!! Very hard to find now. If you can find use that!

I see.. Last time I asked Nissan SC can install by bringing own parts and they reject. Not sure about now will try.

Aiya... I reply late also no difference la... I shared my brake change ma. Almost same reply. Haha plus CNY, in busy and celebration mode. Alignment i can only recommend KelanaJaya. kenzone. Only alignment is good there. The rest is a bit pricy.

Now ori is Made in Thailand. There's plenty online its hard to find one that sells only one peice. Usually many sell 3pcs (1 full set) it's anywhere form rm740-850. OEM or fake Nissan, easily rm350, so go figure, it last but how also not like ORI.

I think i am going to go with Tanchong Autoplus. Not going to spend so much on my car anymore especially mounts. Difference in price too big.

Lol tan chong autoplus.. Their break pad after install screeching non stop. That tells their quality

Yes brake pads still got other options very much affordable even if it's Bendix (screech in the mornings/cold) or TRW (Quiet). The mounts especially the big one... One RM550 ORI vs RM165 TC A+ 😅 i got no choice. Since my ori mounts also seems to start vibrating after 2 years. Doors rattling in the morning. Still not to the point of the bonnet & gear lever rattling. Im gonna try try see how bad it is first. Maybe in March i go change it.

you are right.. I remember my ori mount also starts to vibrate around 2 years but not as bad as my Denco mount (around 1 year). Trying to find something that can last longer cause labour cost is not cheap as well

My Ashimori mount no rattling at all..like brand new original...only start vibrating when near fail, after 4.5 years...i changed it to trt. so far so good. All my mounts installed by SC.

I tried their alignment service.
That guy did not even put my car on the alignment machine. he told me its the tyre problem. He swap tyres. Still the same ( for me). The car was sterring to the right. And he had the nerves to charge rm20 for the shit service!!!!!

Next day i went to Nissan SC and got it settle. No issues at all and my car is straight .....so nice to drive.

Its bastards ah beng like this that we shoud avoid!!!
And i just changed the tyres 4 months ago to new Ling Long tyres all four!!

The shop location is in Taman Putra Prima
Some more can ask me want receipt or not?? I wonder why?

may i know how much did sc charge you to install own mount?

If im not mistaken around Rm100 or less...cant remember...but you can call them and ask labour charge price.

wow. this is cheap. 2 service ago the sc tell me rm1100. dunno is i hear wrong or he say wrong. (of course i din change yet cuz not so severe yet...)

Also, do you all have the problem where tanchong sc person tell u the part price very expensive then when the bill come it is not so? when ask them then they say owh no la the system updated new price.

example i kena: engine belt tell me abt rm200 but then bill come ard rm100+ oni.

By the way, RM1100 include the parts by them lah....if you bring your own parts they charge you only labor charge,
