not all Nissan sc can bring own parts.

I think mounting it's better to go back sc to fix original nissan

Really? nearly all the SC i called them and tell then i bring my own stuff, they say okay..i think only if you are still under warranty cannot lor...

The above was just changed today. I changed left and right.
RM15 per piece and labor charge caused RM 60. Total damage = RM90. well atleast now the cluck duk cluck dung sound no more....
The rubber already hardened like plastic....well, it started 10 years

this stupid thing, made me spent 3 days at workshop to troubleshoot it on my old car ..... funny thing is that sound only happened after driving few KMs.

Hahaha, i remember i had an absorber problem. it occasionally made "thunk" noise. The problem was, the moment the car was lifted off the ground it will be ok for 2-5 days at least before it "thunk" again. i went to the shop like 3x. The third time the pomen said this time test drive first before lift it on the lift stand. Sure enough the 4mths left absorber.

These noise issues are most annoying when it doesn't replicate the prob at the workshop.

im not an almera owner, i drove a forte.

i end up spending around 2k, coz at start thought is absorbers problem, and the absorbers already used for 7 years, so i changed all the absorber, then the problem still there, after troubleshoot, change the bush, i think the bush less than rm100 original parts. Then after that i have a faulty abs sensor (i suspect the foreman damage it when changing the absorber). Beside that, i also changed my all my lower arm rubber bush.

That the prblem, usually i take to SC if i am not convinced with the ah beng workshop....they say this, and that...but after change still the same...by right we can goto hal ehwal penguna nad make a report....they misled us...

4 mths left absorber? you mean the absorber is new and only 4 months old?

KYB excel-g. I think it is a batch processing thing. it has been 3 years already. i think they rectified it. Anyway this absorber is not comfortable. probably upgrade to RS ultra or something. im planning to change to RS ultra soon. still searching for a cheap price.

For Almera, just use back the original shocks. I found it to be the best in terms of comfort and handling.

KYB Excel G is a rubbish absorber.. avoid at all cost. Very harsh and not comfy.

Do they still sell Nissan shocks? i think now only left TC shocks.

Try monroe...its so soft and nice....i will be repurchasing it soon...by end of the year...bcos its been 5 years already since i last changed it

i cant, i drive at highway speeds mostly. Soft abs are very dangerously swaying when near Trailers.

Really? I did not feel that in the highway...maybe bcos im using 195/60/15

I not sure wor.. if you go Nissan, they will replace the original shocks for you right?

I feel that TC shocks will be harder than the original Nissan shocks.

Reason I said so was because the 2013 Almera had a very balanced and comfy shocks.

Newer Almera shocks feel a bit harder to me.
