Hey guys, for my car service at 5,000 km, should I start calculating the mileage from the day I had my 1,000 km service done. Or just send to service when my total mileage hit 5k?
Apparently the sticker on my car says 5k but the app says otherwise... (6k)

Oh, cause i got KYB from online. The shocks on the front right dies on me on the 6th month, no warranty. Up the bumps, fully depress, "Kha-thunk". Cause no one can confirm the cause... so i drag till 10mth and just let my Workshop NCS garage buy and fix it for me (RM350 one pair front only, RM80 labor). he say got 6mth warranty.  so yeah. back to KYB, if you have the same symptom, I tell you how to diagnose... if your car lifted up, shock fully extend and no load, suddenly it goes away for like a week or so... 100% confirm is the shocks.
After got the Proride in June, oh surprise surprise... August it goes "dup dup dup" on the left on uneaven roads. hahaha. well at  least that came out early so got free replacement but need to pay labor. My alignment never got back "solid" when i changed to KYB... finally just last week Kenzone Auto (i only went there for free stuff, end up paying for the camber nut LOL) they suggested I add camber nut. Which solve my problem. Now feels more planted, no more "lorry air push/sway" anymore.

i feel like wanna explode today. my foreman ask to send today morning, instead of yesterday, i follow. 12.45 i go check, still dont start changing anything. i need to go back home take another car cause have appointment for my son. but what really wanna make me explode is, i changed all engine mount, still the vibration the same, or littleeeeee bit less than before. changed zenwa. lower arm change, nissan japan. absorber all 4, kayaba. all absorber mount. absorber link 555. ignition coil and plug changed too. but, still i can feel vibration up until my chair and my door arm rest. my leg feel stronger vibration. im about to give up. lol help! what else.. i change brake caliper pin too since i want to try remove klak2 sound when driving slow, as suggested in FNA.
edit. forgot to mention. my timing is solid. 700 rpm, static. not fluctuate or anything.

already contact another workshop. explained the problems. show him the errors picture. he told me to bring the car. seem he confident. last option before go to TC.. afraid TC gonna rip me off. lol

sory for late reply. i go to other workshop, he bring bigger screen scanner, 4x scan, NO ERROR. lol. phewww... if still got error, i will feel frustrated since i took care that gearbox with all my heart. lol.
for the vibration, i changed my 3 days ZW mount to nissan thailand. then im 200% satisfied. i can  hear my engine piston again during idle & AC off. lol

Yes no doubt about the acceleration. The old one, when new... It had this silence when start up and low dashboard, high headroom that other competition doesn't have. You'll be surprised at the silence when the car is warmed up. You don't even know if the engine was on. Highway cruise is quite comfortable at 120-130kmh. I'm quite sure the NVH in the new one has much improved

Yes I agreed! I using denco and very satisfy! But I can still feel some vibration at the door butof cuz it's alot reduced. Well, our car are not V6 engine, so a little vibration is normal

last time my cooling coil leak, i did smell something, i hear hissing sound.. so far my ac cold as ice (at night rrr).. hope all is well.. looking for cabin filter. seems like nothing special online. better buy at local shop. almost same price. RM20. or got any recommendation for cabin filter?

Disclaimer: im not racing man, i drive follow rules, at highway 110 KM/h max. i love my current condition car. same as new, i mean, slow as original it should be.
I dont push my car when climbing hill, or when the traffic light is green, i just drive normally, what it can.
But i want a little pickup / torque when overtake, when traffic light is green, and when climbing hill. damn car behind me keep cucuk2. they think i dont have 4th gear ha? lol

So, im thinking some modification. Turbo out of question. dont want to touch  engine, retune etc. still cant trust malaysian tuner.. maybe got good one, but, nahhh...

1) air intake. youtube (MCM especially), forum, say, change air filter performance type / open pod, may or may not improve it. but my air filter clip got problem already. broken. i use 3M double side to keep it intact. im so lazy to go halfcut shop to find it. not selling anywhere online or sparepart shop.  so chaning it entirely, i dont mind. but, as i searching around, seems like open pod / K&N type, not really safe. it's direct to throttle body, not secure as original filter setup. if water splash, worried it go through it.. what u say?

2) exhaust. if im going full for extractor 4-2-1 setup, ask already, local no stock. online got, but, without wrap it with heat shield, it not safe to O2 sensor. can melt it. and my local shop suggest to change tabung tengah exhaust / muffler that he claim can improve pickup. should i take it?

3) Pressure jet hose c4? forum FNA post it. im not sure, seems like he just add 1 tiny samco tubing. i ask 2x for clear picture, he don't show it. it's not i want to duplicate it, i want to know, is there any special feature to his hose, like some adapter that can change the flow from spray to pressure type (i guess it air flow since he connect it around throttle body). what do u think?

yeah. my mechanic also say remap (i tell my plan, not even 1 of it he suggest, he just ignore it. lol). He said kedai Alor gajah, but not say which shop. lol. need to google around.
made my mind actually. after some research, all that changing intake, exhaust, seem not effective. better i go straight to remap..

I just changed my fan belt (bando) and tensioner 2 months ago. Suddenly today morning got squek squek sound (tikus sound), any idea from your experience what could be the issue? My car mileage is 179k.

Damn this Nissan 5w30 oil. Just run 4k and 5 months already black like hack. Performance also getting bad during cold start.
Last time nissan 0w20 also same.

Because the NISSAN branding. More than 50% of the population is very social driven... My friend said... Everyone say... That guy say... They don't take risk, and very rarely follow their gut. Cause it's hard earn money. Plus, not everyone knows their car parts... Refill the windscreen water also dunno. More than likely, reliable brand and service centers are what they look for.
Look at proton... If not because of Geely, they wouldn't have come out of bad branding lable.

and what make me sad, is it's parts. it's hard to get original except at SC. even you have money, u need to search here and there to find original.

To find BETTER than original, is another story. 3rd party parts maker, branded one, also rarely made part for nissan.

1 example: brake pads. nissan almera original brake pad come just with brake pad.
Honda brake pad, complete set, brake hardware (those tiny clip, pins), back plate, including grease. so, when u replace brake pad in honda, all the possibility noise cause from the brake pad, is negligible. it's possible other cause if it still happen.

and people said, when you buy Honda, u pay for it's engine only, the rest is FREE. got it?  😉

not bragging here, just my expression. actually my salary can buy a Honda. i can buy it, but im not sure if i can give the best for it. That's why i choose almera at that time, so i can give the best engine oil, the best part replacement, but, it's hard to get. now my almera got many brand, cendol campur already. and im sad about it. it's not what i hope for when i bought this. i get out from nissan SC not because i can't afford it, it's their service. i hate when i complaint here and there noise, they reply with "memang macam itu almera". i don't recall all that noise when i test drive it and when i first got that car.
