I just serviced my car for 50k mileage.

When at home I checked the engine oil level but realized that it is below the "H" level on the dipstick.

Question is, can I ownself go and buy a bottle of synthetic engine oil and top it up myself or just let it be? Since it is not at nearing the "L" level.

If I were to top it up myself, what brand of engine oil is the one TC is using? Because I didn't ask them what brand where they using.

She doesn't has extra money to buy more expensive cars at the moment as I just suggested her to buy a car few days ago
Almera's price is apparently at the edge of her budget, so if this plan doesnt work
I should just wait till next year haha

And she will be paying down payment + 2 years of repayment

I would say that since your mum is paying... and it dont look like she have much money to spend. Be a good child and don't burden your mother. Although I like my Almera with no complaints. Why not get a small and compact car? Place with students usually hard to get parking, small cars help with petrol budget and parking space. Almera is way too big, its even longer than the vios.

this might due to weak battery. i had experience this last year. I informed SC about that and they told me is battery getting weak and suggest me to change the battery.... and i agreed...

but later of the day i just recalled that Almera battery is wet battery, so thinking it might solve the problem if we add battery water?  but i not sure la....the safest way will be sent to SC.

My car battery new car until now almost 2 years, still OK.
Hopefully can last longer.

where do you service your car? Kinda tired of SC keep charging so much already.

I only went to Chan Siow Lin and Setapak SC. Any other recommended SC?

About the light, I think its not normal, because after I switch on my engine should be the all the light turn off and the Seat-Belt & Hand-break light will remain. But
the ABS & Air Bag light suddenly appear around 5 seconds.

Previously I and Jessieccy discussed about the light appear (ABS & Airbag) after I start my engine. This happened when my car almost 1y6m. Send to SC Batu Pahat, they checked my battery is at good state (89%). I ask SC about the light (ABS) appear after I start the engine, they say its normal. I thought that should be normal since Jessieccy also came out with the good reasons which is maybe pre & post check of battery.

Finally, I get the answer why my ABS & Airbag light suddenly appear. For all Almera owner (I don't know whether we all will facing the same problem), I detect that its the sign of weak battery. Last staurday, my battery totally flat, and need to change. Call the Nissan Emergency Customer Care 1800-88-3838, they said my battery need to be change (kena RM260, service come to your front door). Brand Hitachi (wet battery).

So just to remind all the owner here, please take precaution, if the ABS or Airbag light turn on after you start your engine, please check your battery. The battery can stand around 3-4 month until it flat.
