whenever I explain about gunpla to a friend that's not familiar with this hobby, I always highlight on how flexible the hobby really is

yes it is refer to as black unicorn.. when Banagher/Unicorn & Ridhe/D+ was quarelling on earth, the Banshee come falling from the sky with the sun shinning behind like in picture mentioned, the Banshee look Black at that moment.. maybe its purposely done so that Links cld say "a black unicorn?"

banshee can be any color their builders prefer..
just pointing out its official default color appearing in most type content..

The Tri Stars are also associated with black... but they are not actually black heavy.. the Londo Bell Jestas barely hv any significant black parts..

it's like calling Char in his Zaku II the Red Comet, but the Zaku is not actually red, but salmon pink

i find many that enjoy anime aired on tv like naruto, toransifoma and such find it difficult to understand gundam series.. too many to figure out.. cannot brain

loving gunplas doesn't mean you have to be knowledgeable in the animation, there are plenty of gunpla builders that have never watched Gundam series

so true. the only anime i'm familiar with is endless waltz. the kit i bought are mainly due to the design alone. i have no idea what sinanju was until they announced it and i did a little research after that.

i guess gunpla people can be divided into 2. #1 people who actually like gundam series & #2 people who just like build and play with robots. usually #2 is also a tf and macross fan .

its more derailing to anime side, not to demean... to some a bit knowledge or content pertaining to the kit wld be more satisfying..
i jump into this hobby because of the sinanju..

in my opinion knowing the story behind would only add extra knowledge on the MS, doesn't mean it needs to accompany each other (the anime & the kit) but that might differ from one fan to another

in some cases seeing the anime might give you a different thought on an MS as well, like how I loved Sword Impulse due to its badass look but later when I've seen Seed & Seed Destiny, that developed a little hate cuz of its whiny & emo pilot lol

welp, the animator of original gundam 0079 said they cant replicate pure red on Char's mobile suits for some reason so they make pink red
and thus officially make Char'pink red in 0079 universe until CCA universe Char's Sazabi become proper red
