Not a load bearing piece, a thin super glue would do just fine. No need for plastic cement.
imo super glue does not bond the plastic, hobby cement does. plus melting the plastic to bond better
actually spend on hobby cement more worthy than spend on super glue in long term
it is a must have for anyone who into gunpla modelling
