Warranty is important, but the 2nd year warranty is with 3rd party, not Apple. From what I heard from colleagues/friends, its at best effort basis.

I would say personal experience, within 1 year, if your Apple does not have defective hardware, it will last. This is excluding dropping it, smashing screen and so forth.

I went to try see the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Hmm, now I'm wondering if I should get iPhone 6 plus in the first place. It's quite nice!

My iPhone 6 Plus 64GB just got delivered to me!

This morning 8am clearance processing complete, and delivered to me just now at 2pm.

owned 3Gs, no issue beyond 3years except when closer to the end of its life suffered water submerge and drop which breaks the glass and end up byebye

4S had issue with headphone jack which was already passed 1yr warranty period. called and reach to the 3rd party, i need to deliver to their office, no substitute available for either loan/borrow, need to wait, etc. I have no spare at the moment...in the end forget it and head to lowyat and have a shop help me replace instantly at around 1xx
this phone also suffered once drop into water, but amazingly after the beras rendam, everything still working and no faulty...
still keep in the room unused for now

is screen crack under warranty? from apple or 3rd party.

could it just be that both Maxis and Digi just haven't received enough stock from Apple..while their management of this issue isn't the best..i would emphatise with them because if they had enough..they would ship it ASAP (i think)..lolol

Don't know about customs but I know its nothing big as it did not hold up my delivery...i ordered mine and it arrived yest..

Talked to my friend in the phone just now.. he is DHL staff. My fren said DHL has promissed with Apple that the parcel must be delivered to the owner within 3 days (after reached Subang). There is 2 categories of delivery.. Office Address & Home Address. Between this 2, priority given to Office address, DHL need to deliver during office hour. For Home address they can deliver at night & night delivery boy will earn night allowance RM10 per delivery. This is what they do & what we need to do is playing with that tracking games - keep refreshing track shipment (i like it coz not everyday i buy new phone ).

8.03am at Subang, now still at Subang, how do I expedite it? Aih.... can't wait to have it today. Tomorrow feel very long to wait....

From what I know, screen crack caused by mishandling is not covered under standard warranty. For example, if you dropped your iPhone and the screen cracked, the standard warranty does not cover it.
