Cancelled my 31/10 pre-order of 6+ 16gb gold frm maxis yesterday.

Placed order for 6+ 64gb SG frm apple store yesterday. Waiting period, 3-4 weeks. 😓

I think they will update it tomorrow provided they have stock. I ordered on Sunday and they updated it on Monday.

No matter how u look at it, u will get it from Apple online first b4 telco.
Just think where telcos get their stock from? And if Apple online have back orders to fulfill, do u think they will ship to customer first rather than pass to telco and let them deduct apple's commission?

Well usually in other country, they ordered from the carrier, cause you will get a lot of perks,

Not sure what sane mind other famous telcos here that screwed up people pre-order. Some has penalty if ordered online, some waited until frustrated

In Malaysia the phone bundles are absolutely crap. Other countries you can get the phone heavily subsidised. Here it's more expensive than buying outright. Seems Malaysians are a contented lot.

let's not talk about subsidized phone price. the normal plan price is already crappy. but do we have a choice.

let's not talk about mobile plan. let's talk about Internet service. unifi 5mbps is now still at RM149.

I can go on and on.
bottom line is, do we have a choice?

i order my silver 64GB i6 on friday night, and when woke up this early morning, i checked, its status has changed to "preparing for shipment"

erm.. kinda good news and fast.. so ppl here, estimate when i can get my phone ya?

i guess earliest should be wednesday right? my location is ipoh.

if ur status is changed to Shipped today, then yea Wednesday is possible. I would say wed/thurs...

so basically it might take up to 2 days for the shipment right?

i saw many post here, their iphone actually shipped out to china then back to subang again. since i m in ipoh, might take an extra of 1 day for sorting and delivery.

Just to share with u. I ordered mine on fri afternoon n status also changed on Monday morning. Got my item on Tuesday night but I live in KL so I hopefully you can get on Wed.

ohh.. as long as within this week is fine.
