ya, i know the different between deluxe and non-deluxe, but the deluxe 1 got raid feature, so i think it may useful if use more than 1 sata hd...
i think i will get the non-deluxe version la... sad.gif
*
raid or no raid it doesnt matter to me
what's important is teh overclockability of the mobo

Yeah ! Biostar o'c spirit!
This mobo is good. It can support me to o'c to 410FSB x9. But not so stable, i think becoz of high temp. So if wanna fully utilize its o'c potential, wc setup is a must.
*
i think u shud not overlook to change the nb heatsink to a better one..
one thing is for sure, the nb is hot.. even when i replaced the stock heatsink with TT extreme spirit II and it still feels hot when i touch the hsf. u guys shud note that the TT extreme spirit II is a fully copper active heatsink and has 2 heatpipes.
So to push ur cpu further imho u must provide better cooling for ur nb.

there are no 400MHz, just got auto, 533(1:1), 667, and 800 only. wink.gif
1.325 seems like too low, cant even boot into window. Just now prime with orthos, system not stable at all, not sure what is the problems. So, i tried to increase the vcore to 1.4v, vdimm to 2.0, errors still occur.... sweat.gif
*
why dun just up ur vdimm to 2.2v... most ddr2 can handle that vdimm without a fuss i think.

are u using the stock NB's heatsink?
*
i think for fsb lower than 400, i think the stock hs shud do the work fine becoz the nb isn't stressed too much biggrin.gif

Used Everest Ultimate Edition to monitor ur temp n others....its seems very compatible with 965PT...for me it show same temp as in bios n coretemp read...
*
on the contrary not for me..
because the temp reading when i primed my cpu for both core that everest gave me is not the same with the temp showed by coretemp

u just hide them? so, just what reading got em right? i think just the sys temp and hdd temp r corect. cpu & other one(i don kno what temp is dat) just crap. tried to adjust but cant get de right temp. all my fan speed reading gone mad. so, u hide all the fan speed too? got some rite?
*
on my machine, speedfan shows correct cpu and hdd temp, other than that crap... so i just hide them... while for the fan speed, it only shows correct reading for the fan that's connected to teh nb fan header on the mobo...

Yeah, if you don't mind the missing RAID and SLI functions as I been a good supporter for RAID since those P4 days when my ABIT-IC7MAX3 was running RAID 0. Loads games damn fast, heck I gotta go grab a cup of coffee when I finish loading games like warcraft and had to wait for others tongue.gif

I am missing RAID 0 now. Playing Titan Quest really is taking some toll on the HDD as I am the one hosting the server. Sometimes damn laggy when suddeny die AHAH.

I mean, 450x9 multi for a E6600 you get 4GHz? if your processor ca support it. If i got a E6600, i would have sold my processor and biostar together and I keep the E6600 with RAID and do SLI better summore.

C-zone was selling the cheapest XpertVision 7900GS for only RM550 which clocks at 500/1500. Where to find? RM1100 can do SLI nice nice already. I went 2 days ago out of stock already, so hot this GC cos of the nice price.

Now i have to think twice wheter wanna get E6600 & keep the P5N-E SLI cos got buyer gonna COD tommorrow. Crap..........
*
i think it would be better if u buy 88gts 320mb rather than 79gs sli...
eats less power while giving you higher performance & support dx10 brows.gif
