guys looks like a have a prob... im using team elite ddr2 800 5-5-5-16.. but i seem to cannot reach 450mhz fsb no matter what i do... but i and my fren already tested my ram and it can do 1.15gig @ 2.25v vdimm but using 3:5 divider... what do u guys think is the prob?? is it because of mine e6300 sark and cannot break the 450mhz wall or is it this mobo's prob??? btw im using the latest modded bios from rebelshaven

yup, when i set the memory divider to 1:1 and fsb to 450mhz, my rig cannot boot, then i tried to increase to vcore to 1.5v, vmch to 1.45v and vdimm to 2.2v but still cannot break the 450mhz fsb wall This post has been edited by ben_panced: Sep 22 2007, 06:25 PM

hurm, maybe its becoz the cpu strap only change when ur fsb is over 403mhz, that why.. <- correct me if im wrong... becoz i experienced it, i can boot @ 333mhz, but between 334 and 400 mhz, my system cannot boot at all.. btw rite now my fsb is at 445mhz

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Oct 26 2007, 01:26 AM) In the bios setting, under overclock section, the FSB termination is use for what? i dunno, maybe its to improve the stability of the OC... but with ur oc i dun think u need to change the FSB termination voltage

the difference is the 965pt pcb is based on teh p965 deluxe, which is good but the p965 pcb is not related to p965 deluxe.. about the overclockablity i think that the 965pt is better than p965 pls check lowyat's intel overclocking database and u can see that someone already clocked their e6300 past 3.5ghz on 965pt which is impressive considering that this is a value mobo.. but the 965pt has been EOL-ed by biostar

guys.. i just noticed.. the liquid electrolitic capacitors on my board is not sanyo like biostar once claimed on their website, but OST which is made by the company named ostor based in taiwan.. so i checked this capacitor at badcaps.net and capacitorlabs.com and found out that OST capacitors are not good.. haha rite now my mobo's age is nearing the 1 year old mark and i have oced it ever since is got it.. wonder how long the capacitors on my mobo will last?? how about you guys, what brand of capacitors are on your tforce boards?? btw, xbox360 mobo have 100% sanyo low esr electrolytic capacitor -> i already checked it when i "bedah" my bro's xbox and wii's mobo uses 100% solid capacitors (try look for screenshot of wii's mobo on the internet) This post has been edited by ben_panced: Dec 17 2007, 09:50 AM
