not to say follow him....but his move makes sense to me. Oil is quite uncertain in future, as shale oil technology continues to improve in more countries now. From shale oil, we may see even other form of new energy maturing. Renewable energy has been hot, technology advancing may one day made it commercially mature. All in, traditional oil business won't die, but may not earning more money in future. On the other hand, those who has been betting on future technology will most likely be winners, ie. IBM and Apple. IBM's moving away from hardware solution and into cloud means more software oriented. This is a key changer in the IT industry, although 10-15 years ago IT people (including myself) already seeing this to happen when web-approach software design was born.
