I wonder which of the following scenario you prefer BR to go for?

1) Win and qualify for the group stage but lose in the last 16.
2) Fail to get out of the group stage but finish 3rd to  go to Europa League. Then try to win it to automatically qualify to UCL.

1. There's still some CL money to be made if the team made it throught to the last 16. I don't see #2 happening with the current state of the squad

Seriously, why did Rodgers buy the likes of Lallana and Can to sit on the bench? And Gerrard over Coutinho? Johnson still? Really? This guy has some serious problems...

#Rodgersout might just happen before Christmas

Btw, just found out that Henry was over at Dubai few weeks back and met with Marwan Abedin. Reports said about the new Ainfield naming rights but could me more? hmm.gif

LOL. How many midfielders you want to have in the team?

Zero shots on target. Mind you, this is coming from the back of 4 defeats...doesn't look like they are playing to win.

BR's stepson, the welsh Xavi started that's why.

Low confidence, and Rodgers has possibly lost the changing room. Plus, he himself said that there's a big possibility he's gonna axed to the media so I don't think he really cares anymore too. doh.gif I'm not sure the players want to win this either.

I think he adopted another son. GJ.

That negrito was horseplaying with the ball outside the pen box, took his own sweet time to clear the ball but got robbed. I was about to go off. vmad.gif

Poor, as usual. He must have read the comments during half-time. Nonetheless, great goal. Give credit where credit is due

G dropped, Lovren dropped, Toure started, we won. How bout that.

I don't think BR is really that "safe" considering we still played horrendously in the first half. Also, he said he's the closest manager to be sacked in the BPL. This guy really needs to learn to cool his tongue

LOL 40 million? LFC don't have a single dime to spend and we are massively outside of FFP ruling. Don't hold your breath.

Well, Basel and United will be the defining moments for our season. If we do badly on both, then BR is pretty much done.

The only positive in this game is Lucas. You can see why Liverpool needs players like him.

Without Gerard our passing damn poor..
After he came on... V were better..

So have to stick Lucas dm and Gerard as am

As for strickers  even though they play ... Feel like they are non existent.. So better play without strickers.. Mood out already laa shit shit...

Confidence low la brotha. You see Coutinho, didn't even attempt to make a single creative pass, thru pass anymore.

Karma. BR was taking a jab at spurs when they lost Bale and spent >100m. Now look where we are. laugh.gif

Sterling is overrated but he's the only player we have up top to spark something up... At the moment, he looks like Aaron lennon really. He CAN dribble, but does it too much for his own good most of the times and does it forcefully. His passing and shooting are bad. He and Coutinho should practice hitting some beer cans over at Melwood

How u gonna make a pass without a creative movement from striker and other  icon_idea.gif

Yeah sorry. It's the team that is the problem here not just him. whistling.gif

Anyways, Rodgers seems to have lost it completely. All that talk about philosophy, how he changed the team last season to a high-pressing, counter-attacking team. He should have built on that. The signings of Lambert and Balotelli didn't make any sense at all. We need players with a similar mould to Suarez and DST. Not big, slow and "not-a-one-man-stiker" like Lambert and Balo. Did he forget the reason why big Andy didn't work with him in the first place? Even his tiki-taka days are over. When you put Lambert alone in front, expecting him to play like Suarez, you just know he's gone insane. rclxub.gif

I think that will be beneficial for both parties.
Come tuesday if group stage elimination dawns upon anfield, rodgers will be under massive pressure.
Following that result, defeat against united will certainly see him sacked.

I am just hoping he can turn it around.I would hate another round of rebuilding and progress.

Rodgers, "the carefully chosen one" has spoken. The only reason why Balo was brought in was because there was no other option. LOL. Genius. Seems like Rodgers really is letting everything out now. Looks like a gone case for him. Same with Balo.
