Any idea which driver / software comes preinstalled (or in disc) uses WinpkFilter ? Winpk Light Weight Filter to be exact. ndisr.sys

As prince j told b4..either caused by ram or ssd..

In this case u unstalled ur own ssd which might be a possible cause of bsod occuring quite often

Either way take it back to illegear and dont worry, they will settle the problem for you.., the most expensive solution is by changing the ssd, if the current ssd u using is not compatible..lets hope it doesnt go to that extent

Decided to get a Z5 to replace my Y410P.
Fell for the design and great cooling system.

Not exactly a heavy gamer hence 860M should last me for a good 3-4 years.

Okay... I just updated my Nvidia Driver to 347.25
And after my Z5 when to sleep, once I wake it up, I encountered BSOD..
Error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
So I updated my Intel HD 4600 driver.. And the problem is solved.. So far no BSOD yet..

Conclusion: Nvidia is as always, coming out a driver which is not compatible with other driver.. in other word, cheap state driver

P/S: oh yea.. screw Win8.1.. This OS got so much problem.. Win7 is the way to go if you want error free environment

Actually if windows 10 stable also i wont upgrade just yet..because scared illegear drivers not stable..

Since microsoft gave 1 year frame to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 10, ill wait until the drivers are stable

But still awesome features in windows 8 tho..especially cortana

Erm.. Win8 don't have cortana.. it's only available on wp8 and win10.. And I think it won't support worldwide gua.. like what in wp8.. need specific location jsut got the cortana service..

I'm looking forward to it. We Z5 user also do hope ILLEGEAR website is able to provides details on what Drivers should be installed and it's even better to have the link to download it. Like all other laptop brand are doing. Download drivers from official website

Highly recommended upgrade for MYR199!

Furmark and Prime95 temperature test result:

Prime95: 78c
Furmark: 62c
Both: GPU 67c CPU 84c

Best ever.

Illegear tested on my unit since im the first buyer of the z5..and it was 66c

Jealous aku..not fair my unit 66c.. maybe ur room temp lower??

Ohya forgot its sitting on a Cooler Master U3 Plus maybe that's why.

It's a great machine albeit the premium.
