Thanks.

What is the different between Platinum and Gold Card ?  CL only ?  Since there is no Annual Fee
*
I believe should be CL and some benefits which are not so useful for normal users.

I thought it has chg to 5% dining rebate on weekends?

Any1 can clarify this?
*
That 5% on weekend dining rebate is on MBB2 AMEX.

Not this card: MBB Ikhwan Mastercard

The 8x TP is on MBB Ikhwan Petronas Visa.

Please don't get anymore confused!

Do mbb still gv the 5% rebate on weekends? Still the dual card?
*
Which card are you referring to?

If you're referring to the dual MBB2 AMEX, yes it's till July 31st. After that, it'll be restricted to 5% weekend dining only!

I already gone through their documentation. All of it only explain if you have an existing credit card.
At the moment, I do not have any credit card. I would like to apply one that can be use for EzyPay 0%installment.
Based on their documentation and form, a credit card is needed for this EzyPay and there is a bunch of credit card that is available for this.

So my queries is, If i want to sign up for a credit card which is Ikhwan gold, will this card support EzyPay 0% installment?
(I'm just doing some research and asking around before i go to maybank  sweat.gif )

YES and it depends on the partnering merchant.

Collected the card yesterday. biggrin.gif  rclxms.gif
After read thru the cash back T&C from the booklet given, T&C no.4 stated supplementary card also entitled for cash back. Based on my understanding, the cash back is only for Principal card. Is it true?

4. Subject to the eligibility criteria specified above, transactions made by
the Supplementary Cardmember will also be entitled to the Cash Back,
where the Supplementary Card’s spending will be accumulated with
the Principal Card’s spending and the Cash Back will only be credited to
the Principal Card’s account.
*
I meant Supplementary cash back is shared with Principal and will be credited back to Principal. As simple as that ...

Newbie here, considering to get this MC to replace/combine with existing M2C (AMEX)  hmm.gif
Understand that the 5% rebate is applicable for petrol and groceries on Friday and Saturday, but what are the categories for "groceries" in general?
Can any sifu explain?  blush.gif notworthy.gif
*
They're track using MCC. It's hard to define.

Groceries are everything from grocer to hypermarkets. Departmental stores are not classified.

Basically your daily supplies and consumables.

Why not? You need to reload TnG right? Some places consider TnG as groceries. smile.gif
*
Provided that you reload at Sam Groceria or Jaya Grocer.

And certain petrol stations, Giant or Tesco.

Details: refer to TnG thread.

I'm aware of that discussion @ TnG thread. Any idea this MC will bundle with any freebies if applied successfully? Or MBB always no freebies...?  sweat.gif
*
Don't dream about it.

If you apply at booth, perhaps you may some free gifts.

They don't want too many MBB2 AMEX holders to migrate to this card.

Today is the 13th working day since they acknowledge my email.

I think it's better for you to call the card centre or CS for follow up.

13 working days is too long!

why you're interested to know if it's under Groceries?

why not under Petrol? hmm.gif

Coz i fill my motor tank every 2 days. Mostly on weekdays.
Each session rm5-6...if using cc, wont get any cb...

Or i misunderstood? Topup gift card under petrol category at counter and still can get 5% cb?
*
Why not as long as its MCC is grouped under petrol?

This card is not as picky as HLB WISE whereby cash back is only rewarded for transaction at automatic dispenser.
