QUOTE(laymank @ Aug 11 2015, 01:52 PM) Why don't you walk in to the card center such as one at 1Utama, you can know on the same day if your card is approved or otherwise. I don't need it now, so I will walk in later. Don't want to purposely go there to apply now. Moreover I just terminated my RHB, so I want to make sure my CCRIS doesn't have this record first. Will run a CCRIS report next month. |

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Aug 11 2015, 08:31 PM) for those who converted from m2cards to ikhwan, how long does it take for the 2cards to get cancelled and stop showing in maybank2u ? QUOTE(chiahau @ Aug 11 2015, 09:39 PM) It's been more than 2 weeks but my friend's M2U still shows the M2C cards You need to request to remove from M2U. It won't be done automatically. At least that happened to my Gold card MBB2MasterCard, I changed to Visa that time. I only removed it this year when I got my Plat. But amount has been zero-ed ages ago lol. After 4 years, it was still there. |

QUOTE(BudakHuat @ Aug 14 2015, 01:07 AM) Thanks Sifu Frutie, You can have both but Maybank Ikhwan has the tendency to reject their applicants.Browsing through the forum post, i found out that few members are saying they are cancelling m2c and converting to ikhwan. Does that means we can only choose between m2c and ikhwan but not both? Three ways to apply: i) Apply as a new applicant - 50/50 chances ii) Split or potong limit from MBB2Cards - 50/50 chances iii) Conversion from MBB2Cards to Ikhwan - 99% chances So, you can start from option 1 to 3 and see your luck. It doesn't matter whether it's just gold or platinum, if it wants to reject you, it will.

QUOTE(bunnyzai @ Aug 15 2015, 11:33 AM) A curious question from my end, why would the bank reject your cc application if you qualify for it? High exposure. My reason was this back in April, will re-apply again in Oct as I don't need it now. Only reason I can think of is your bad credit score? Any other reasons? |

QUOTE(ffederick @ Aug 26 2015, 01:04 AM) Guys since this was my first credit card I want to ask what does Fixed monthly management charge (rm7500 for gold card) means? Do i need to pay this charge every month? This has been answered many times. Please look back the fourth post before yours. Basically if you pay full statement balance, there is no interest will be charged to you. This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 26 2015, 01:25 AM |

QUOTE(CP88 @ Aug 28 2015, 01:05 AM) I'll just need 1k for my cr limit. Yes, but there's a minimum amount to pledge as well.I thought I remembered I saw someone mentioned that whatever amount you pledge that would be your cr limit. Not worth to pledge FD for Ikhwan when you can easily do that with your income. |

I went to Gardens Maybank today. The guy told me cards applications will only be processed during working days. So, if I were to apply today, it can be only processed on next Tuesday.
In addition, I will have to apply as a new application and split limit is not an option now unless it's rejected, then they will split it. In order to apply, will need to bring payslip or EPF statement and they don't have the EPF machine on the spot. Maybank MV has it by the way. That's all for now. Since I didn't have anything with me today, will put on hold for a while. |

FYI my application was at beginning of august 2015. Can try again but I guess you have to be honest with them that you were rejected before. |
