For me I like to listen to hymms and the congregation sing out aloud. Just a piano will do. I just can't take the drums and the bass guitar. It feels like a concert. I understand that its done for a wider audience. Baptists churches have been losing young members to more progressive churches. Sometimes the loud music drowns out the voice of the singers and the congregation.

I been there, i really cannot take the loud drums especially when you sit near the dew crew area, the speakers are so loud, that you can feel the ground shaking. I like to go for BSF, they sang really truly clear and audible hymms.

I am no pro in sermons lah maybe its my opinion. I could be wrong. One thing nice about Pastor Daniel sermons is I think he use the exegesis style to introduce his sermon. He reads them out from the whole passage so the meaning of the passage doesn't go out of order. Occassionaly he is good at making small jokes that get the audience attention. I don't see a lot of other pastors preach like that, except SIB's Pastor Chew (by the way, if i not mistaken both Daniel and Chew are close friends).

hah, today sit down at home whole day do nothing. Still got no muster the courage to go church. Maybe next week I go, I ask my cell group member whether can accompany me. Tonight go out to mamak with my guy buddy to talk about relationship stuff, he is a divorcee. Then tommorow, i meet two buddies at another mamak to talk talk. Still miss going out for pak tor. Not use to it lah, sit at home.
