Holy spirit is holy spirit.

Human beings are human beings.

Is that so hard to understand?

QUOTE(leonhart88 @ Jan 11 2015, 06:08 PM)
still can be scammed by other people? heard lots of people to give witness they are helped by God like recent air asia qz accident, the person got up late then didn't go air asia. He said God gave him to dream, he should not go singapore from surabaya. so it's pure luck or God helps him? why only him since many Christians in  air asia too? I know death is certain..
*
The Holy Spirit can help, but it is up to the individual and God's will for certain things to happen.

The Holy Spirit is a guidance, and it must be governed by an individual's faith.

It is not an insurance policy to allow you to become a perfect soul.

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 11 2015, 07:01 PM)
For a Christian death is not the end. It's the beginning of eternal Life.

This is the reason why Christ came and what He offers to all who believe.

So for a Christian whether He lives or die on this earth, we really have nothing to fear, in fact we do long to be with our Lord Jesus because in Heaven, there is no  more suffering, living there. And how do we know there is a Heaven? By knowing there is a real God here on Earth. And How do we know there is a real God?
By the evidence of our Life. Whether what God promise for us in this life is true or not, And I can testify to you, It's TRUE!

But as it is God put us here for the purpose to accomplish what we can in life. Different people have different purpose in life.

Hope this helps you understand better. Some "people" out there don't understand and blame God for everything. Please don't get confuse by non Christians trying to mislead others. Ask us Here, we are the better source of information when it comes to Christianity.

Sometimes I feel discouraged to have gf who very committed to God. She will be always cares about other people and stress herself than care for me. Donate half her money to other ppl, church and her parents while asking me money. However, love is to make someone happy so I support her biggrin.gif

What do any of your comments have anything to do with a girl who is on the verge of killing herself?

Non Virgin can marry in church provided she has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and (depending on Churches), they have to be member of that Church.

I'm sorry but, unless it's just me, I really think leonhart88 is merely trolling, instead of seeking actual answers to his questions. Several answers have been given to him to his previous questions, and I can't help to shake off the feeling that he was being apathetic towards the answers that were given to him.

QUOTE(de1929 @ Jan 16 2015, 11:18 AM)
ah one problem spotted .. thank GOD !

The proud persona is what every single Christian must have here. Confidence, freedom, all under GOD's grace.

As most of ppl read only the last sentence, i think i better put it again here:

The proud persona is what every single Christian must have here.
*
I suggest you read what ngaisteve1 has to say about pride, as shown below.

QUOTE(ngaisteve1 @ Jan 16 2015, 11:33 AM)
There is a difference between 'good' pride and 'bad' pride.

Good pride - 'I may not be the most outstanding Christian and I don't have to be as long I give my best. I am proud to be a Christian. I am not ashamed to tell people of it.'

Bad pride - 'I am better Christian than you. I know I am always right and you are not. I have special connection with God than most people. So listen to me instead. Why you so weak?' - Although they don't say such words that directly, their conversation/attitude reveal it all clearly which can be seen by others. But those who got 'hidden pride' might be a little more difficult to detect.

You need to chill out dude.

Don't lecture to me about Galatians 6: 7. When you can't even understand the fundamentals of Christianity, teaching the wrong doctrine and obsessed about worldly materials.

Is anyone here interested in the string theory? I have an opinion that this may be the closest, non-metaphysical way to experience God.

are you telling me JESUS CHRIST does not have rights to ask me to kill our neighbors ?
are you telling me JESUS CHRIST will not to ask me to kill our neighbors, because bible say love your neighbors ?
*
I sincerely think you are missing UW's point, by asserting your own opinions that isn't necessarily accurate in the biblical sense.

You cannot convince people that your opinions are correct until you are able to completely discredit the importance of using the bible as a point of reference to Christianity in the first place. That is unless you are actually trying to prove that Jesus Christ himself has just recently spoken to you to deliberately discredit something, or everything that was ever written in the Bible.

And most of all, remain calm and composed over yourself.

MAT 15:11-14 NIVUK

What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.’ Then the disciples came to him and asked, ‘Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?’ He replied, ‘Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.’

While I understand the passage, it'll be appreciated that it should be clarified on how it relates to anything, so that your message conveyed can be as less cryptic as possible, or at least it sounded a lil' cryptic to me. tongue.gif
