Anyone know any multi-spilt air conditioner in Malaysia? Any brand or model?

In SG we have multi-split but I hardly see any in Malaysia

Wanna less troubleshooting, go to Daikin you won't regret.
If you get Pana and add for extra warranty, like shengQ offer

Daikin much durable and parts much cheaper

Pana just selling brand only
*
Ya, it could be Pana selling brand, but I would like to try one with their premium inverter and see how it goes.

I still yet to purchase 1.0hp and 2.5hp units. Don't know which to go

If 2.5hp for ME was good very fast to cold down for your space.
But make sure inverter unit only

That quiet mode can be bet on 1hp

Next week i'm going to redo all piping to support R410A gas and retire all my old airconds of 15 years old as the electric consumption is super scary especially for the Sanyo 2.5hp sweat.gif sweat.gif

You want best price, have to go shop and ask, and there is Two price, c.card or cash. There is no easy way to find cheapest product. Ask and ask visit and visit.

The closest good online price are jintex
*
I think Jintex online price are old price, they haven't update the price with GST and currency hike

Does R410a pipping support R22 refrigerant? Or it's too thick?

R410a copper thickness at least 0.6mm = gauge 23

R22 I think less than 0.6mm at around 0.57mm can be leak after sometime

I was still remember for 1st Pana bring in 13k btu at 880kw only and the requirements said the copper pipe thickness must be at least 0.8mm wow.
Also the liquid 6mm dia & gas 12mm size was big also, the actual diameter were only check in data specs

My neighbors still using this 1st inverter Pana unit located at their master bedroom, I think already over 8 yrs now still no issue.. Just the recent Pana inverter parts were out of quiality control.
*
I mean if the existing piping is already done for R410a, can I use it for R22?

I know R22 piping can be dangerous after some while if using R410a due to higher pressure

Just that does anyone do the reverse way? laugh.gif

non of the shop i went got that, they only got the 1hp deluxe (MSFG10) which priced at rm1300

u know of any shop that carries the deluxe version and rough price? may pay a visit if not too far

what about the MSHK model, any truth on what they saying?
*
basically you can use R22 pipe for R410a, but it is not advisable, because R410a gas pressure is higher and R22 pipe thickness might not able to support it, if you have long pipes of R22 and you want to use R410a, it is dangerous and it will leak after some time

If you have short pipe, just across the wall and it's the compressor, then it should be fine, but if you want to claim for warranty, the on site team will check and if found out you have R22 pipe, your warranty void

problem is non of my AC locations are placed where it can be back to back with compressor

btw, for my rarely used room, what is the diff between these ME and MHI basic models (gh10vc and SRK09CMP) ??
seems this SRK model is significantly cheaper
*
for long term run, change all piping to R410a

I am changing 3 pipping to R410a since my aircond is already 15 years old and it consume a lot of electricity, the one I switch on the most is my master room, at least 10 hours daily and I got inverter for it, let's see how it can save my electricity

Guys i need ur help on this one.
My cabling inside the walls are having problems lately.
Can i open the aircon and rewire it to plug directly to the wall outlet ?
I got the wiring diagrams and pics of the wiring block if anyone wants to see it.
Theres 2 cable which is black and red connected to the L N and a green connected to E. I believe if i remove those cables and connect a new one to the respective block should be ok?
Thanks guys !

Btw my aircon is York but dunno which model
*
yes, you can use 13A power socket, no worries, unless your aircond is 3.0hp above, then it is not advisable to use 13A. you need 20A

thanks for ur rep!
there's a red and black cable connected to L and N. so all i need to do is just remove the stock wiring and install another new wiring at that L & N and i'm good to go?
how bout the earth as the earth is connected directly to the breaker outside
*
Both way are workable, important is the L and N

So do i still have to connect the earth at the plug of the new cable ?
*
If you already have ground outside, it's ok not to have ground, but if you can plug a grounding to new cable, then it's better

Inverter set to 16C vs recommended 25C will get cold already.

So your energy should be super expensive too

Please contact Pana service, need refill gas, otherwise nothing can help
